The Truth about the Tea Party

Some people, including a few posters here, just look for the (D) or the (R) and check the appropriate box. Saves time and brain cells.

I get dinged for being a liberal or a New Democrat socialist, even among Canadians, despite my track record for the ballots since I was 18 was always Conservative or Libertarian.

A lot of people made the same mistake before the truth of the man was made public knowledge.

I try not to worry about what my fellow American is doing and just do my own research. Then, vote according to my values and the issues important to me.

As for La Rouche, I have no clue who that is. I'm off to google so I can learn about him.

It will be an eye opener. Quite a history there.:cool2:

Sorry, no. You can doubt if you wish. You can just as easily vote via absentee ballot or just wait until November 2nd. Meanwhile, I'm not going to get into a debate such as this. It's silly and pointless.

Just like jillio, you are missing the whole point. This is NOT about voting early or waiting to election day. YOU said there were people with the Tea Party after their name. It's up to YOU to prove it. YOUR quote was silly and pointless in the first place. if you are not willing to back up your words and prove them, then don't post them.

Again, you are making some innaccurate assumptions. Appears to be a pattern with you.

Ummm, no she didn't. She said there were people FROM the Tea Party movement on the ballot.

There are also candidates FROM the Democrat Party.
There are also candidates FROM the Republican Party.
There are also candidates FROM the Libertarian Party.
Now, like I ask, where is there a BALLOT (any local/state/national) that shows a candidate is FROM the Tea Party???
You won't find one.

Funny, I don't trust Tea Party and hopefully they lose in November.

READ this....it is the beginning!!! The Dem., the Rep. and the Lib. can lose in November. BUT, the Tea Party?????? They can't win nor lose!!!

Are you thick?

All it takes is to do a background check on the candidates and see what organizations they belong to.

A candidate can easily be from Hell's Angels, you won't find "Hell's Angels" mentioned as a political party on a ballot, but people who have issues with that organization can vocalize about it and recommends others to vote for a different person.

Candidates, like voters, can affiliate themselves with a particular party or movement, or choose to remain independent, non-affiliated. It depends on how they register as voters. As an example, suppose a candidate is registered as a Republican but is well-known to support the Tea Party, and is promoted by the Tea Party. If the candidate is registered as a Republican, and was chosen by that party to be its candidate, then the ballot listing will include an R after that candidate's name.

Each state may have differences in their ballot criteria and design but that's the general rule.

No. I just don't feel I need to prove a darn thing to you. There were people on the ballot from the Tea Party. They have "TEA" designated by their names. Take my word for it or you can google for a sample ballot yourself. I'm not going to get into a p*ssing contest with you; just because you choose to be difficult.
