Last month I read an article in Rolling Stones magazine and I thought it very hilarious as well as right on the money. It is a lengthy article but I am throwing it in for what it is worth, since mid-term elections are looming.

Yeah. Go to any Tea Party gathering and about a third of the crowd are geriatric folk on their motorized scooters railing against socialism. Guess who paid for those scooters? :roll:

Not in this blog/article but the setting is in Kentucky, so I believe it. I did not set out to insult Tea Partiers, so don't kill the messenger, lol.

Oh, no, no hard feelings. :) I would just like to see pictures that show massive gangs of geriatrics on wheels swarming the Tea Party rallies. On none of the press or online coverage have I seen such.

In one way, I do see how more retirees could show up at rallies. They don't have busy school, work and family schedules to maintain, so they have more free time to attend rallies.

Of course not! The only good use for Rolling Stones is for t.p.

The article is about neither Democrats or Republicans. It is about the Tea Party.
Go flush yourself.

Did you even read my post?
I spoke of equal treatment.
The Rolling Stone villified the Tea Party for their own benefit and they are not willing to give equal treatment to the Dem. nor Rep. parties.
You are just as unfair as they are.

Oh, yeah...like the Tea Party gives fair and equal time to all.:laugh2:
 
It seems that an awful lot of Tea Party members have an anger they cannot verbalize, let alone know whom to blame for it. That they will have an impact in our next election is frightening.

No doubt. We need every thinking voter available to combat this fringe movement.
