I've went and seen this sequel to the 2002's most popular Japanese-based horror flick, The Ring TwO with my friends tonight

and you want to hear my opinon about this one?

okay...here goes:

a big, fat, fucking, major disapointment!

It was simply one of the worst horror flicks ever seen, as most horror flicks are pretty bad, this one isn't bad...it's just one of the worst films ever released this year.

weak storyline, horrible acting, and pathetic scenes.

The opening of this sequel was SO cheap I just wanted to laugh my ass off of how badly done it was.

Sorry folks, it's not the one you would take your friends or girlfriend to get her all frighten up and get her to cuddle up with you when she's in fear for this kind of film...it's not even scary at all as the first one.

the first one, in fact, scared the hell outta my brother and friends and they were impressed of how done it was...but the sequel? they just wish they've read more reviews about this flick before seeing it lol.

so..."The Ring TwO" is already put on my "worst films of 2005" list.

I wouldn't recommend this to horror freaks or fans of the Rings/Ringo films.

/me zooms to Blockbuster.com and adds Ringu 2 to the top of the queue list.

Thanks Vampy!! Ringu 2 was supposedly released on DVD the same day The Ring TwO opens.

*EDIT* Awww, DAMN DAMN DAMN!!! ^)$@(*&^)@@)($*^!!!! BB online don't have it yet! Grrr!

Yep! I've seen all three Ringu titles. I've also seen The Ring. The Ring was a lighter version (the scenery was sunny and bright) with some things changed from Ringu. They also included a part of Ringu 2 in The Ring. I was disappointed about that. Even what this girl did to her victims were freaky in Ringu. Now, The Ring Two doesn't even make sense. I saw the previews and it doesn't look appealing to me. If I were to describe the Ringu series in a few words, I'd say...
  • Ringu introduces the curse
  • Ringu 2 explains the how the curse works[/i]
  • Ringu 0 tells how the curse started
As for The Ring, all I can say is... they tried to Americanize the movie in a horrible manner.
 
To be perfectly honest, I find "The Ring" to be more scary than "Ringu" anyway.
 
Just saw The Ring TwO last night.. Not too bad, but it wasn't scary. The kid needs to work on his acting skills a little more. The Ring was scarier than The Ring TwO.
 
I kinda still want to see The Ring TwO. I liked the first movie, and I'm kind of still interested - LOL. So I'll probably wait until it comes out on DVD and rent it for curiosity's sake.
