The PS3 is not overpriced!

I know all this PS3 $600 and gamble on technology talk can sway people to not buy the PS3. But I believe the PS3 will start really selling once games like Gran Turismo and MGS4 are available for the PS3.
I think it is safe for me to assume where Ninetndo and Sony are headed for the next 5 years. I am unsure what kind of fate will befall the XBOX360, will it flourish alongside the PS3? or will the PS3 be such a huge advance over the 360 that M$ develops (they could be working on one right now as we type and read) their next XBOX console?
 
Yeah, I am Sony nuthugger!! :whistle: I did playing Xbox, Gamecube and PS2...I liked PS2 cuz of plenty of best games at less cost at the Gamestop or eBay that I could find.

Yes, I will get Xbox360 and Wii for my kids....while I get PS3. Then I can check them out as their own game like Halo, Mario and MSG :)

Only I has to think which one I should buy : HDTV or PS3 this year....maybe I should going for HDTV....then buy PS3 in 2007 since I haven't finish many PS2 games here and also sell them to ebay.

I don't need more of a game console...game console is a game console and all I have to do is pop in the game and start playing it, just like in PS2.

PS3 will need to have a great cooling system, maybe like having a 120mm fan with +50 CFM (do a search) and less than 20 dBA of noise... I know that's big size but I think it's worth it... Maybe have a heatsink attached to the CPU and exaust fan attached to the heatsink and the chasis of the PS3. This should really bring the heat out of the PS3 case but not to be very noisy.

This is great. 30dBA still good enough. My coworker (hearing) own same fan and set it to MAX so he said he have hard to hear any noise from his 4 fans (120mm) at 39.5dBA like newegg spec said so.
 
$600 PS3 is affordable based on feature and OS with 8 cores.

However, I do understand why Sony is sell that too much cost on PS3. They're doing same as Apple, since they sell overprice iPod and it works. So... Let see what PS3 can do once it release.

Ponder ponder... iPod sell for $400 that does music, video and very few organize compare to PS3 that does play video game, internet and movie. Hmm...

Nah, I just say that I'm happy with PS3, including new features and Linux OS.
 
If you already have an Xbox360...then I doubt you really need to get the PS3 since most third party games will be on both PS3 and Xbox360...

yeah man but I am way into Nascar game... when I learned that they are about to sell Nascar 07 only in PS2, xbox, and PSP. Not Xbox 360 and I am reallllly very upset about this. I am so mad at whoever decided not to make for 360... why xbox not xbox 360??!!... its stupid. I am very pissed now. I might sell xbox 360 anytime sooner but rather to try out GTR first whenever it come out. If GTR is great then I am keeping xbox 360.
 
Also I did bought PSP because I was expecting for Nascar 06 on PSP but not... then I sold it on ebay. Now PSP is getting 07. Screw that they are wasting my damn money. I guess I am sticking with my PC nascar thunder 2004 since its best realistic racing game I have ever played.
 
PS3 and Xbox 360 aren't same level based on graphic, disc and other features.

Many xbox 360 games has same graphics as orginal xbox games. Such as Gun, Condemned, Friday night fight 3, and many more games. They must had transfered the game to xbox 360. Call of Duty look kinda the same but added acheivements, whatever it spelled. So I dont see why they are not going to transfer Nascar 07 to Xbox 360. I dont care about the graphics.. I just want to play them on xbox 360!
