Hi everyone,

Jolie or Alex, I think there's a glitch on AD because my profile says that the last time I visited AD was 11-14-1982 at 01:52 AM. I was only 12 years old at the time and busy playing Pac Man and other arcade games. :giggle:

Do any of you have a similar date written underneath your profile? If so, what is it? :lol:

But this brings up what is probably a stupid question.

I love video games. How do blind people play video games?

I play video games by listening to the sounds that they create. After playing a game for awhile, you also get a feel of the joystick/controls and how they manipulate your character. For example, when I used to play Defender I could easily avoid targets by rapidly moving up and down while constantly shooting bullets. When I played Asteroids I moved my "man" around in circles really fast so I could avoid getting hit by other asteroids. When I played Pac Man I was able to get a good feel for the game by memorizing different moves around the maze that would help me avoid being swallowed up by ghosts. I've been playing video games since I was 8 years old (my first game was Pong), so I've become very accustomed to playing without sight. Once you get the hang of it, it's not difficult at all. :)

Weird glitch I would assume for the time go to back to 1982.. ehhh... very weird.. lol.. could be a time warp eh? LOL

That could be. :giggle: I'm feeling lucky today, so we'll see if I can win the Powerball jackpot with them! :lol: If I do, I owe half of my winnings to Jolie and Alex! (I have to save some for myself, you know!) :cool2:
