The Last Time I Visited AD was on 11-14-1982 at 01:52 AM!

Hi everyone,

Jolie or Alex, I think there's a glitch on AD because my profile says that the last time I visited AD was 11-14-1982 at 01:52 AM. I was only 12 years old at the time and busy playing Pac Man and other arcade games. :giggle:

Do any of you have a similar date written underneath your profile? If so, what is it?

Tell that to me I was only 11 years old and I was crying cause the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville closed only last October 31 :(

1982 is sure my favorite year of all because of the awesome World's Fair in my own hometown :)

and I could probably have taken you on PacMan or Donkey Kong by then :)

Time warp yeah! wouldnt it be nice to stay 12 years old forever? :giggle:

Being 12 years old ruled! I had so many great memories from the 80s --particularly the early 80s.

Were you good at Pac Man and Donkey Kong? I could play a mean game of Pac Man, Space Invaders, Centipede, Defender and Galaga. :giggle:

Ah, those were the days! :D

I sure was pretty good at em but most of my time was spent on Galaga :)

Now I wonder what my daughter's gonna feel as a 12 years old in....2015? I better hope the Hannah Montana fad passes by then. I'm going to go  every time I see that mentioned. Better hope my AD clock isnt fast forwarded to 2015 :D

Hannah Montana is similar to our Michael Jackson "Thriller" craze back in the 80s.

I looked at mine and it would have said 2085.

Jclarke.. that would be when ya are croaked up by then.. wow.. lol...kidding, man...

In 1982, I was 10 years old. Yep, I remember getting excited whenever my mom said we were going to eat at a certain Mexican restaurant cuz I knew I would be playing the Pac Man Arcade game while waiting for our food. That was the best thing in my life at that time. LOL!

That's okay, Jolie. :) AD's little glitch gave me a source of amusement today. :giggle:

I'm glad it gave you an amusement for yesterday.

In 1982, Gosh, I was only 5 years old. I was so much into Barbie dolls and I was seriously obsessed with Rainbow Brites and Carebears, lol

Cool! :cool2: I was hooked on Pac Man too! The first time I played it was at Chuck E. Cheese. LOL!

I wasnt even born yet, as I didn't pop out until a year later in November of 1983.

I miss the old restaurants we used to go to when me and my brother were kids. during the late 90s and up until recently, Russellville has been undergoing a complete remodeling. Its not the same city it used to be.

Hey, FC do you remember Bonanza??

Hey, FC do you remember Bonanza??

I remember Bonanza. In fact, that used to be my parents' favorite restaurant and I used to go there all the time when I was a kid. They had great food and I especially loved their desserts!

Yeah, you should have seen my amazement as a child when I realized for the first time that there was more than one Bonanza restaurant, LOL.

There was also this small hole in the wall Mexican restaurant that we used to go to all the time, and they had these AMAZING sopapillas, or at least that is what I think they were called. It was this fluffy breaded pouch thing covered with powdered sugar and honey and it was SOOOOO good.

But the restuarant closed in the mid 90s and it was later converted to a used book store, now its a small astrology shop.

 I was only 6 years old and I remember the atari game pac man, space invaders, and it was when my dad bought his brand new Volvo that year. The best TV show by that time was ofc Dukes of Hazzard, Knight Rider, CHiP's, Fall Guy :)
