For me, it varies.
Sometimes, I go out of town and have it with my relatives... or I'll stay in town with my family.
With my relatives, it's usually a HUGE dinner with a lot of variety... ham, gravy, turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, dinner rolls, jello, egg salad, potato salad, etc.
With my family, it's usually small and simple... a turkey, gravy, ham, mashed potatoes, and green beans.
That's a good deal, Bott. The grocery stores are just luring us in, aren't they?
That's what I'm doing this year.Go for the relatives!!!
Since I have been up here for 8 years now, I have only been home to Texas ONCE for Thanksgiving. Of course I miss the good Southern food, but mostly I just miss my family. The women standing around in the kitchen cooking and talking while the men congregate in the living room around the tv watching football. *sighs*Anybody want to watch a video of a turkey get his head chopped off? And it gets prepared and cut up for dinner?
werent you getting enough attention in the political forums?
