Teaching a beginning ASL class.

That's why Susan (I'm tired of just calling her my Deaf friend lol) is coming. She knows everything there is to know about Deaf culture and history. She used to teach it at a community college! They can ask questions. I'll interpret for her. :)

Any suggestions as to what I should teach? I'm having a good Deaf friend of mine help me out. But I was just wondering what you all think would be appropriate. It is only going to be a 4-5 hour class. So I don't have long. Thanks!
I would include basic vocabulary of the most common signs, basic non-manual markers, and basic grammar. But I'm really not sure what you're going to be able to accomplish in 5-hours.

Edit: Looks like I'm late to the party. Oh well. Glad your class went well.
