Hi, everyone!

This thread was inspired by tomorrow's special "holiday." :slap: to those those who don't remember!

Mother's Day is certainly one where we stop and think about all of the things our moms have done for us - the arguments, the fights (oh, GAWD, do I owe my mother a lot of apologies!) the good times, the bad times, the times we'd rather forget and we usually do manage to "not remember."

Anyway - my father will be spending his first Mother's Day without his mother this year. She passed away in February. I imagine tomorrow will be very difficult for him, even though he's pretty much an emotional rock and I've never seen him cry in all of my life. (That's a long damn time, too!)

For those of you whose mother has passed onto a better place, or is no longer with you - please take the time to reminisce and share some good times you've had with your mother. How are you feeling? If your mother was sitting with you right now, what would you say to her? What did you find to be the most special about your mother?

Hugs to everyone!

That is a Very good Thread MalfySis! *Hugs*

Pretty Much My Mom is alive here with us, There are times things should be left unsaid..If you Only Knew we do not have a special close Bond. Therefore, I Forgave her for all that had happened. But, I am a Mother now; I give My Boys the Best Life With Love and Caring and Support. I am Pretty Much Glad that I have that Kind of Love as being a Mother to my Boys Looking forward seeing their Life moving ahead their Schools, Their College, Their Marriage. I want the Best for them.:)

I just sent my mom a Mother's Day card for the first time in many years!

Aw, this is so thoughtful of you. I sent all moms in my family an e-card and I even called them to wish them a Happy Mother's Day. :)

I let my boys do whatever they want to do today, eating what they want to eat, playing outside in the evening (they do not do this at all cuz of the darkness), and few others. :)

Aw, that's one reason why I like about you Malfoyish , you have the biggest heart!...*hugs*..

I have two ' moms ', One of them ( my step-mom ) I get along very very well and I do appreciate the many wonderful things she does..She has a big heart for caring about others who she may not know and that what I love about her the most!...

Ummm...for my real mom, there may be so many things I may not like about her but she still my mother and I do love her because without her I wouldn't be in this world....and I do forgive her no matter how much I've may have felt hurt or not loved...I did called her up this morning and wish her a ' Happy Mother's Day! ' because , no matter what happened in the past , it may be a reason why some things had happened in the first place....as no one is perfect..

I love both of my mothers and I do appreciate many things they both have done no more no less! :)

My heart goes out to those who have lost their mothers!
