Stop POPUP

Hi... I am piss off on my computer always dumb pop-up. I want to know what kind for work stop pop-up? Please help me! Thanks!
 
If you are getting pop-ups for every website you visit, it's probably cuz you have spyware on your computer. Two good programs for finding these so-called spyware are Spybot and Ad-Aware. You can download them for free from www.download.com

I was going to suggest Ad-Aware, too. ;) That one is a good program -- will do a thorough search on your hard drive and list out all the spywares. You can delete them, etc. :D
 
yeah ad aware is good also get spysweeper as well it will delete spies from cookies as well.

to prevent pop ups you can also get meaya which is very good program which I have been using it for long time and love it.

I used to have Google toolbar and BellSouth Pop-up blocker to block pop-ups.

I'm currently using Windows SP2 RC7 (not official verison) which includes pop-blocker, I think in my opinion is a lot better than the blockers I have used.
 
I have no problem with pop-up , since I have msn pop-up blocker ! :dance:
 
*Ahem* Ad-aWare is not for pop-up the internet, This is for just remove off some the Virus that cause internet pop-up but it will still come in internet anyway.
Best way is you need to get the ZoneAlarm Security Suite. It had protect Virus, Ip Block, Firewall, Pop-up, Cookie protect, Here is so many protect and i dont have any problem with on my laptop and Pc Computer. We have 5 computer pc at my home. IT dont have any pop-up. Also, I got pretty a lot bad ip hacker in my computer since today 50 times. Good thing that i have zonealarm this time. IT will never know it happen to your too. ;-)

Pop-ups usually appear worse when browsing porn websites. If they pop-up worse on other sites, then it's usually because of spyware. I almost never have pop-ups problem. :thumb:
 
allright dude, if u just need the zonealarm u know what to do. :)
just in case zonealarm is save ur life..
 
IE/Netscape always comes in and break leak'n into and success pop up again.. again over...
how's their smart move and action tweakage it. *grrr everyones who create monster. (sigh) That's life.. I use AdAware/Spybot.

Decide to use Mozilla Firefox... *Exhales* So much better.. browsing this one.. than IE/Netscape. Mozilla Firefox has good security everything to prevent pop up and anything name it.. I like it lot because "just simple and o'il plain features"

IE/Netscape are very senstive adapt Toolbars addy for no reason.. And also getting tired of Update windows almost everyday.. *Suspecting sumth'n wrong w/Updating Windows are loops hole??* Guess what, I found out 'bout extremelly Dangerous one.. "lop.com" there was diffculities to removed some of what serial nbr and codes in your window.. I decided turn my sheelves up and work hard search for solve the problem issues "lop.com" don't go WWW. warning.. use google.com and to ask find for help how rid of lop.com in your computer.. uneasy.. which there pretty strong ones..

Over long the hours.. finally I removed it.. *exhales* ain't fun! Thanked help whoever coming from Hearing peepz who posted compaint about lop.com on message board forum. I read read read carefully.. wow.. their comment.. I followed their comment by step at time... *pah* It's over my nightmare!

You better be careful w/ IE AND NETSCAPE. okay.
No matter what.. *can be smart loop'n hole into your computer due hijack*.. whoever hijack smart than you do.. *please be careful w/your computer* just making sure you have to check and deeper dig hole til be found what you got as "never heard of" then try rid it.. if not work.. go google.com what kind of codes or name wha..ever bring to google.com search it.
*Good Luck* Don't be panic about your precouisly computer.. I know isn't fun!

I know that all software will wont stop POPUP because I bought Norton Internet Security 2003 and it wont block POPUP, it's not work. So take my advice, just ignore and click close pop up :bye:

There is Windows XP (Service Pack 2) SP2 candidate 2 preview available by Microsoft that will help you to block any pop-ups - even that Google (and many popular popup-blockers) cannot catch. :) Trust me on this one!

I won't be biased this time... Opera browser ( www.opera.com ) is good - almost like of Windows XP SP2 (according to someone who is an expert when it comes to computers).

Mozilla is nice, but I don't like it enough well to keep it any longer.

Hi Brian, yes, I did get it from Christo's link. It's working fine, so far! :fingersx: I'm curious, what's the difference between these links, the one you and Christo provided? I see they both look a little different, but they both are from the same site. :dunno:
