Has anybody used one? Do you like it

Could you be more specific?

Perhaps, you can tell us what it is?

You can't just jump in and say, "Have you tried __________?"

Some of us might not know what it is or might know what it is under a different name.

Not a hearing aid, actually, but a boot that plugs into the bottom of the hearing aid like an FM system's receiver or a DAI cable.

"Eli" is an interesting name to use for a boot to go on the hearing aid.

Picture the hearing aid as the state of California and Eli goes you know where and it represents a term of a racist tone.

Hi Everyone,
I thought others had heard about it. I have been surfing the net alot about wireless bluetooth. The ELI is put out by Starkey, it will connect by bluetooth to your cell phone. I wanted to see if anyone had tried one or used one and how they liked it. I am trying to find a good wireless system without having to go into Phonak's Smartlink. That is just too spendy for my budget.

As you can tell I am new at this so please bear with me.

I asked about it at my recent visit with my audiologist yesterday. They have one at NTID for looking at and testing.

According to them, it costs $350. Of course, this was a couple years ago. So, I don't know what it would cost today.

I still think it's a waste of money.

I am sorry to hear you feel that way. I use a cell phone alot for personal usage.
I have found them on the net to be much cheaper in cost. I want to use it also for my TV and whatever else might be bluetooth.

Thanks for your time in responding.
