NO Bashing please and let discuss. Thanks! Let them opionion.

What difference the Spirit between world?

Body- the flesh
Soul- the mind
Spirit- the part of us that was designed to enable us to walk.....

Father - Soul (place of final authority)
Word/Son - Body (Word became flesh)
Holy Ghost/Spirit - Spirit (empowerment)

1 Thessalonians 5:23

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and [I pray God] your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Body-Controlled, Soul-Controlled, Spirit Controlled???

Conclusion???

Old body is temporary. Soul last thru eternity. Spirit, if those who are in Christ, Spirit are made alive, those who are without Christ is spiritually dead. When Christ return, those who believes in Him will have a new body.

The way I see it.. spirit is energy that powers God/souls. A soul is a person with spirit. Does it make sense?

"Soul last thru eternity."

That is wrong. Souls can get destroyed. The Old Testament mentioned of destroying souls. The Revelation also mentioned that if my memory is correct. I remember vaguely it saying that bad souls will be destroyed in lake of fire. That shows that evil souls won't spend eternity in hell.

If spirit and soul exist, they are the same.

Man is of three part according to the Bible-1 Thes.5:23 says "and the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete.."

Spirit Soul and Body

The spirit is the innermost part of man
With the spirit we contact God
Praying and reading the Bible is one way to use your spirit to contact God
Also singing spiritual songs, hymns and psalming with grace in heart to the Lord is another way of being in the spirit.

The spirit has the part of the:
intuition- the ability to know what God is saying or to receive revelation from God.
Fellowship-a desire to worship God
Consciense-with the conscience we are excused or condemn or guilty conscious.
If your spirit is very much alive all these part will be very active.

The soul surrounds the spirit
It is our psychological being
It is made up of the mind, emotion and will

The body is simply the physical body, belonging to the physiological level, contacting things of the material realm, and is the most superficial part of our being.

The spirit is encased in the soul.
The soul must be divided or separated or distinct from the spirit in the same way as the a bone may be broken to release the marrow Heb.4:12

We have human spirit and it is not the same as the Spirit.
God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit..John 4:24
The Spirit here is the nature of God and with our spirit we can worship God and not in our soul.

The Spirit in us is not only made up of God that is only divinity, but also the aspect of Incarnation (God becoming a man, human living for thirty three and half years), crucifixion, resurrection and ascension element. The Holy Spirit is compounded with all these element.

This is the Spirit we are born of.
When we are born again the Spirit comes to our spirit and enlivened that is made alive. Or
When believe or receive the Lord Jesus our spirit is regenerated or is reborn by the Spirit.

But the Spirit must not end there in our spirit only
We need to allow the Spirit to spread from our spirit into our soul
And this is matter of being spirit-filled and not soul-filled(where the self is dominant)
As we pray and read and read and pray the Bible, and call on the Lord we are filled with Spirit. The Spirit flows like rivers of living water and gushes out to saturate our entire being.
Eph.5:18-19 "And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissoluteness, but be filled in spirit,
Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and psalming with your heart to the Lord,

To be born again is free but to pursue the infilling of the Spirit requires us to pay a price.

We have to be like the five wise virgins who took oil(Spirit) not only in their lamps(spirit) but also filled their vessels( soul) with oil.

Soul is eternity. Souls destroyed meaning people was destroyed. In Revelation, didn't say souls destroyed, He said those whose name not written in the Book of Life will be "thrown" to the lake of fire. Jesus described diferent places how He described what hell is like. Like rich mand and Lazarus for example. Soul does live thru eternity.

...The Revelation also mentioned that if my memory is correct. I remember vaguely it saying that bad souls will be destroyed in lake of fire. That shows that evil souls won't spend eternity in hell.
Sorry, your memory is incorrect.

"Soul" or "souls" references mentioned in the book of Revelation:

Rev. 6:9
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

Rev. 16:3
And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

Rev. 18:13 - 14
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

Rev. 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

"Lake of fire" references:

Rev. 19:20
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Rev. 20:10
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Rev. 20:14 - 15
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

As you can also see, the fire doesn't destroy those who are cast into the lake. They burn and suffer forever. They "shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."
