I wouldn't reject a movie with the current cast or a new one... I agree, some new writers are in order. I think we need a lighter Spider-Man movie. One that shows the humor a bit more.

But the two leads not showing interest--that could be because they're bored, or it could be because they're holding out for bigger money. ;)

As long as the new writer and director respect the character and understand him, I'm find with someone new taking it over. I think Joss Whedon (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly/Serenity) would be perfect. Buffy was more-or-less a Spider-Man-like character.
 
I saw the movie last night and thought it was awesome!! IMO, the Spiderman movies keep getting better and better. :thumb:
 
It is awesome movie. I think in Spiderman 4, spiderman's enemy should be Red Carange (sp?) or Lizard. That's all I remembered from comic book in the past. Speaking of wedding, it should happen since they loved each other very much after what they did to each other.
 
There better be same casts in part 4. If not then I will only collect 1-3 period.
 
Why would you care? It's Spider-Man, not Tobey Maguire.

Nobody give a hoot about Tobey Maguire these days. Nor do they care for Kirsten Dunst. In fact, Kristen Dunst is aging quite badly due to her chain smoking habit. It really showed in the third movie. I watched the movie via digital projection and it stuck out like a sore thumb.

They should just get new actors to play the roles. People go to the movies to watch Spider-Man, not the man playing him.

Kristen Dunst will stay hot for 20 something years. If Tobey not returning part 4 then they better have spiderman's mask stay on the new cast for the whole film without taking it off. Or turn it into 3d animation movie. or put a make up on new cast's face to make it look like Tobey's face.

Carnage would be cool since there is little venom left at Dr. Connor's lab. It's little chance. But I'm sure it's Dr. Connors who will turn Lizard. And I hope for another villan, Chameleon add on next movie who is master of disguises.

I still think Kristen Dunst is ugly. Have you seen her body? :ugh3:

I wish in first place that Jessica Biel would be play as Mary Jane.
