You think south park is giving kids a bad immage? South park charaters like kyle and cartman using profanity and kids think its funny. Now how come the FCC lets MTV get away with this? But when howard stern uses profanity on the radio FCC fines him a bundle.Seems to me FCC should fine MTV on every profanity word they say on the air unless MTV becomes a pay channel.
 
Umm... South Park is not a kids show. It's not on MTV either. It's on Comedy Central.

Yeah...and it only comes on at late nights,(and rated TV-MA) which is a good excuse for most kids to be in bed already when adults are still up and gets to watch dirty shows like "south park" and "drawn together" (a new one, folks...you should definetly watch that one! :D )

I've always loved "south park" ever since middle school and it is still great to watch but not that kind of season when Kenny wasn't in it...it kind of ruined the series but now that they got Kenny back...everything's back in track.
Just like the good ol' days.

Cartman: "beef cake! bbbbbbbbbbeeefffff cake!"

Cartman: "screw you guys. I'm going home."

Cartman: "your mommy's a bitch. your mommy's a bitch. oooooh your mommy's a bitch!"

Cartman: "Kyle I want to let you know that I'm sorry that I called you a jew."

Kyle: "Dammit I am a Jew!"

Cartman: "no no you are not to me."

Kenny: "mmmb muthbe mmmpth!"

Stan: "omg! they killed kenny!"

Kyle: "you bastards!"

Now during the new season of "sout park"...it seems that Kenny won't always be killed in every epsiode...weird eh? but still, the show is funny as hell.
 
South Park isn't for kids to watch. I do not like to watch South Park either, I think it's a stupid show.
 
i agree Cheri!!! i dont like south park either -- watched it only ONCE and found it to be a VERY stupid show! :roll:

and trashy too.. kinda reminds of me shows like MARRIED WITH CHILDREN and ROSEANN.. i hated those shows!!

I love Roseanne She is funny as a mother heh. I hate Married with Children show, that show is so dumb, even the blonde daughter is the worst dumb blonde I ever witness in my life.
 
Yep, I love the show. I used to watch them all the time. However, since I've been in RIT... I've been way behind. :(

I'm planning on getting the shows on DVDs though. :thumb:
 
Samething with bevis and butthead. I heard a kid actuly but his dog in the dryer to dry him. Like beavis did. :ugh:

Are you sure it was the dog or the burning down the house thing? They even have a disclaimer on television. I think it's stupid for people to blame things on television. It's just like the people suing the Matrix movie and the Doom game for the Columbine High School Shootings. :roll:
 
I heard the burning the down the house too. But it was on the local news a kid put his dog in the dryer and someone called the authorities on animal crulty. His mom was so upset she wanted to know why he put his dog in the dryer the kid said he watched beavis and butthead did it. So ASPCA took the dog away from family and kid was crying cause he was just trying to dry his dog and the state of maryland wouldnt allow him to have his dog back. The boy was only 5 years old. Now his mother is taking MTV to court and suing them because that show caused him to lose his dog.
