Smurfs: The Movie... Live Action?

It seems that the movie will be done like Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Since there are very few human characters in the Smurfs series, they might do it that way with the upcoming movie... humans with CGI Smurfs.

Wow, this should be interesting! I cannot picture how it will look like in CGI with live action like Garfield movie and others. I watched The Smurfs 1st season on DVD not long ago and ahhhh those were memories!
