No way! In 1920s and 1930s, New York City built thousands of Art Deco style skyscrapers. New York City built its first skyscraper, Flation Building in the 1880s. Chicago invented world's first skyscraper that made out of iron in 1880s. I think that world's first skyscraper were called The Chicago School Building but it got demolished in 1930 to make way for modern Art Deco building.

Oh, I must be mistaken, but do you have some images to prove these skyscrapers? And in bold above, why did the demlish to make way for modern art deco building?

That world's first skyscraper is called The Insurance Building.

I am not sure why they decided to demolish The Insurance Building for modern art deco building...

That image looked awesome, it looks really good, and old fashioned they should keep the first skyscraper as a museum or something?
 
Also for Australia's tallest skyscraper in today's modern life is below located at Gold Coast, Queensland Australia.

I agree. I guess these people didn't think to keep that building as historic building before it got razed.

Yes. I think skyscrapers museum in New York City have the pictures of The Insurance Buildng.

Empire State Building became New York City's tallest again after World Trade Center collapsed by 9/11 attacks.

World Trade Center(WTC) is getting rebuilt but taller and bigger. The renderings of new WTC complex.

Tehse pictures looks very beautiful and I was wondering what would the staff who used to work with WTC would be vowed to return since the 9/11? (No Offense, peeps) and also is this below, rumoured to be the world's tallest, no?

Nope. All companies that used to be housed in World Trade Center before 9/11 attacks are gone for good. They got no major tenants signed the leases yet but only government offices signed the lease that will take up to 400,000 sqft office space at Freedom Tower. The developer of WTC is looking for more tenants to sign the lease so they can move in that complex when it get built.

Taipe Tower is current world's tallest building but right now Burj Dubai is taller than Taipe Tower.

Yeah, it would seem so about the tower when it is completed.

Good question. I don't have that answer yet because they haven't been 100% leased yet. We will find out eventually when they got leased out.

Before 9/11 attacks, WTC had over 50,000 workers in both towers.
