I was just lurking through few random forums and noticed most had a Signature of the Week competition.

I was just thinking why doesn't AllDeaf have a SOTW?

What I am thinking is..

* Different Theme every week.
* A panel of judges vote on the signatures that has been entered
* Encourages members to develop their graphic designing skills with Jasc Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, and many other graphics programs.

What do you all think?
 
I have GOT to buy the photoshop software... --;;;

hmmm if you have alot of freetime, you think maybe sometime you could create a signture for me? lol just wondering
 
it's sound fun but gotta to remeber some of aders have kids to do, some of their computer isn't the best for photo or anything like that.. or some aders are old fart don't want to do anything just enjoy read and postin!

Ohh, we had a competition last year, but it wasn't just the signatures, but other things as well..

I wonder if VampyroX is up to running the competion again for this year.. It lasted for about a month for different categories.

Doing one for every week is too much work. Once a year is better.
 
I'm more than happy to host the signature of the week competition...

FYI, I've too much time on my hands!!!
 
I think 400 x 300 is too big. That will double or triple the amount of time it takes to scroll down the page. When people leave signatures in their emails, they usually make it less than 500 x 100 pixels. The same applies to other serious forums.
