Should There Be A Cut-Off Age For Older Drivers?

LOL @ Defee!...

I remember I rode with my grandma to church when I was a teenager ....when she was driving on a busy main street and the good thing is..it was only 25 mph....she was driving pretty slow but then sudden she was trying to get on the highway but she went on the wrong way!....I was screaming ' GRANDMA YOU'RE IN THE WRONG WAY! ' While a truck was coming down the hill toward her car.... ....

I should have brought my bottle of asprin with me! :|

She did backed-up and tried to turn around , everytime she tried to turn her car around she thinks it not enough room so she keeps backing- up ..while the guy in the truck was very patience waiting for her turn the car around ...it was soo embrassing  even though I love my grandma so dearly...but, honestly she can't drive! :|

LOL! One time, i saw it myself, i was driving down the street and saw my ex mother in law's car ahead and she had the damn big casserole dish on top of her car!! she dang forgot to put it inside her car so i honked and honked but she, being hard of hearing, didnt hear me honking and then the damn casserole rolled off the car when she went up the hill and splattered all over the road! damn crazy biddy!

honest with yall, i dont know if u dont agree with me abt that..

i think not abt wait 65 age to not drive.. but my point is DEPEND on the old people who has plms health early before 65, or eyes look not good see while drive.. or whatever.. i think that not allow the old people not drive cuz of health plms, u know what i mean???

As matter of fact I do Tweetybirdgirly!...I feel the same way as you do...I don't think older people should drive if heath problems or vision ..but that my opinion!...

Yeah i think people over 65 should be tested yearly to check their eyes and a little driving test wouldnt hurt either to make sure they can DRIVE!..Ive seen a lot of senior citizens just absolutley cannot drive period!! like my ex mother in law! but she still drives..so people look out when she is driving!! clear the streets and highways!! gangaway! :scatter:

But that sure is funni, yet AT the time, it must have been scary and sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo embarrassing too! Which grandma are you referring to dear? Just so that I'll keep my eyes open for that particular grandma weavin' her way out on the streets.... :laugh2:

Depend on their mental and physical health...

r u feel not comfy rid'n with ur gramma/pa's car.. why don't you get your gramma/pa's car send to repair the auto shop and ask for 2nd brakes in case another side of passager. btw you can brake stop anything you want to for your safety.. ((chuckles))~:giggle:

Otherwise, I hate driving on Education car when I attempt driving increase little speed, somehow instructor stammped brake harder.. I drove sqeeesszzh stop.. I said wha.. how stop? Instructor was fury and bark'n me.. I said "Wha for stop?" how do tha?. He showned me front passager seat has extra brake.. I said, FUCK OFF.. Instructor send me office.. I have to right explaination reason why not safety for my driving if happeds break my neck.. I gonna sue'em instructor.. G'thing, Release me as free bird. ((chuckles)) that quite remind me about it..
Have you done like this b4 ?? *Wonder'n 'bout u!"

my grandma is now no longer driving -- she made an written agreement with all 3 of her surviving girls (my mom and her 2 sisters -- the 4th passed on years ago) that upon her 89th birthday she will give up her car -- the car was given to my nephew which was a perfect timing cuz his used car was starting to fall apart
