I have no idea where these radicals get the idea that the Holocaust never existed. It did exist! Anyone in their right mind and old enough to understand can tell you exactly what the Holocaust was and its purpose was. Adolf Hitler was hellbent to create a 'pure Aryan race' at the expense of millions of innocent Jews, including women and children, as well as people deemed inferior such as those who were disabled or mentally retarded.

I think its hard to classify him on either side....Some people are just plain nuts. At 88 years old, he has seen a lot of bad things through his lifetime. He's become delusional that its everyone else's fault. The Jews did this...the Muslims did that...Obama did this...Reagan did that.

Some people just aren't right in the head...no matter their political affiliations or party sides, etc. This guy was one of them. If he didn't go after the Jews, it would have been someone else.

Obama seems a cool enough fellow and loving family man though he's totally inexpereinced and goes out with misplaced intentions. He's just the wrong person for the job. He has already cost us $1.8 trillion dollars in less than 3 months. A deficit that's 5 times bigger than Bush first year in office. Pretty funny and ironic to watch people who complained about Bush's deficit (which is NOT fiscal responsibility in the first place) in the past who now have all of sudden stayed quiet with Obama's record breaking deficit spending. Hypocrisy is obvious.

Exactly. Kokonut has a way of turning every discussion into a "bash Obama" thread in order to further his personal agenda. His antics are well known onthe internet and within the deaf community, and not well respected, I might add.

Not quite. A few people here started to make certain claims, and so I clarified

my thought exactly. It is understandable that it's hard to see him doing this heinous acts despite of his extensive public service record but when I saw his age... 88 years old. I figured - ah.... that old cahoot.... He has gone senile/demented/etc.

Well, that may be but that guy also had a history of hate and tendency for violence. He spent a year in jail for fighting a sheriff's deputy in Maryland in 1968 (age 47). And in 1981 (age 60), he walked into the Federal Reserve with a handgun and sawed off shotgunand for trying to kidnap members of the Federal Reserve board.He served 4 years for that and released in 1989.

The last I checked, the U.S. was still a democracy. After all, isn't that the very concept we are attempting to force on other cultures?

Can't be a socialist government and a democratic government at the same time. Two different concepts.

Given the fact that his activities have been under watch for several years, I doubt we can blame it on senility. But demented to be sure.

The U.S. is a republic not a democracy. We vote for representatives who, in turn, make policy decisions on our behalf such as our senators, representatives, etc. Remember the Pledge of Allegiance, "...and for the Republic for which it stands..."? And it is spelled out in the U.S. Constitution as well - "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government" (Article IV, Section 4)."

Thank gawd the U.S. is not a true democracy else'd we see chaos. Many people simply do not have the time, wisdom or level-headedness to make complex decisions. Yet the U.S. continues to move away from their republican roots to a more "democratic" society.

As for a socialist government and democratic government, there can be a mix of both. In fact there is an organization that wants to see a democratic socialism in America. Which is all about attaining greater and greater control over America by our government when it comes to socialism in the United States. And that will eventually spell trouble into the future.
