Service/Hearing Dog Attacked

that had to suck, I'm an avid dog park user and to see this happening and the action by the owner and the son is an embarassment to other dog park users as we promote responsiblity and common sense.

Was wondering how tall you were perhaps the owner felt intimidated by your looks not actions?

Good luck!

:) I am almost 5 ft 7 inches and 145 lbs dripping wet. I also walk standing tall and hold myself confidentally. I'm also a green belt in karate and did use it on the son. He's a lucky man that, when he released me, I didn't drop kick him. I hadn't practiced for a few years, yet I still remembered what to use and how, then placing myself into a fighting stance when he released me.

Sending Snickers my love and best wishes. So sorry to hear that. Get well soon Snickers.

Forgot to mention . . . Snickers is looking forward to Friday morning, as she gets a checkup with the vet and hopefully gets that pesky cone off her neck so she can sleep at night. She's going to get updated on all her vaccinations. She's done a darn good job all through this. I had been concerned that I may have to retire her, but her actions have shown me that she's nowhere near retiring.

Ahh that's good.. some people have no heart like the owner and the son.. dang but I am glad she protected you! :)

Actually, FelixKat930, Snickers ran to the car due to her being injured. If she hadn't been, she would have stayed.

I am so sorry to hear that but glad that Snickers is doing better at a time.

My dog almost got attack by another dog. I was at the school waiting for my son to get out of school and this kid with her mom opened the van door and the dog jumped out and get ready to attack my dog. Boy I was quick to pull my dog away from her and run to my truck. The mother managed to put the dog back in the van. Whewwwwwww!!!

My dog loves to play with other dog but when come to attacking she would be afraid and run.

Yea I understand about the karate stuffs as I have blue belt and havent had practice too. But have to remmy what the best solutions to get out of it.

If this guy had done one more movement to jeapordize my safety, he would have gotten hurt. I was very close to landing a blow when he walked away. I wouldn't have used it for the case of using it, but he did do the right thing by walking away.

Yep you got that right. It happened to me once my exh put his hand on me and I told him to take his hand off me 3 times. After the 3rd times he let go of me. If he did then I would have hurt him badly. He came close also.

Ex-husband??!! :ugh: I think you were more than nice . . . three warnings . . . I would only have given him one, then send him to ER.

A true gentleman never touches a lady like this, regardless the reason. I never have.
