Things like that happen, these people are human, but the media always makes it out to be worse than it actually is.
Yep. That's one of many 'bad' things about corporate media.

Senator Clinton Recovers After Collapsing

Sen. Hillary Clinton collapsed while delivering a speech at a noon time appearance today in Buffalo, but was able to walk out of the building on her own and continue to her next appointment, staff members and others said.

Mrs. Clinton, who had just begun an address on Social Security at the Saturn Club, a private club, told the audience that she had been suffering from the flu, as had several members of her staff.

But before she could continue her remarks, she collapsed, said Philippe Reines, the senator's press secretary.

"Senator Clinton is suffering from a stomach virus," Mr. Reines said in a statement. "She wasn't feeling well.

"She felt weak, needed to sit down, and then fainted briefly," he continued. "She received immediate medical attention at the site, and is now proceeding with her schedule as planned.

Mrs. Clinton did not ask for an ambulance and was not taken to a hospital. The general manager of the Saturn Club said she walked out of the building without any assistance.

"I saw her walk out the door by herself, she smiled and said `thank you'," the manager, Vincent Tracy, told The Associated Press.

Mrs. Clinton continued to her next appearance, a speech on health care at nearby Canisius College.

A member of the college's staff said Mrs. Clinton had arrived for her speech at about 1:40 p.m., slightly late.

"She looked like Hillary," the staff member said, noting nothing unusual in her appearance.

The staff member, who declined to give her name, said that the auditorium at the college's Montante Cultural Center, which holds 220, was full, and there were still people waiting to get in to hear the senator. She also said there were a few anti-abortion rights protestors outside the Catholic College venue where Mrs. Clinton was to speak.

In September, Mrs. Clinton's husband, former president Bill Clinton, underwent quadruple bypass surgery.

So you're being hypocritical -- you don't respect the Clinton administration because of a sexual issue. What about the Nixon administration? Should I have respected them, even though Nixon did illegal things that led to the Watergate scandal?

The Bush administration has not earned my respect. When they do, I will respect them. No presidential administration has earned my respect, even the majority of Congress during history has yet to earn my respect. That should tell you a lot.

Hey, ravensteve -- Nixon lied while in office. Do you respect him just because he's a Republican?

I am not sure who you are directing this to. RavenSteve or myself.

However, you quoted me, so I'll respond. I don't believe I was being hypocritical when I said that. I was referring to the Office of Presidency. Not the person. I believe that you can respect the office regardless of who is in office at the time, and that is the point I was trying to make.

I have to agree with Oceanbreeze on this one. How come when democrats are in charge and in power telling you cant call the president a liar! Show some respect hes our president. But when the republicans are in charge democrats change their tune call mr bush a liar. Like Hillary said "QUOTE" How dare you call my husband a liar? Show some respect hes our president. And when hillary as a senator calls mr bush a liar. Thats flip flopping. That sounds like another john kerry candidate to me.

Steve,

Agree with me. Disagree with me. Whatever....

The thing is, it's everybody. The Republicans do it the Dems and the Dems do it to the Republicans. Therefore, everbody's hands are dirty here. If you raise hell at one party for doing it, you have to raise hell at the other. Otherwise, you are a hypocrite.

Politics is politics. The name calling has been going on since the beginning of time, and it's not about to stop now.
