Sad news...

y cousin, Dylan, is 13 years old and lives close to me. He was playing baseball last friday. While he was in the left field, he caught a fly ball and tried to throw the ball. He collapsed and was unconscious. The EMTs came and picked him out and found that his right upper arm was "limping". He had broken his arm just by throwing the ball.

While he was in the E.R. they did some x-rays on him and the drs had found a tumor in his arm and may have cancer. They haven't said it's cancer but they think it is. So now this week he's going to be in Nashville, Tennessee doing some test and will see a cancer dr. They're talking about putting him on chemotherapy and radiations. :sad:

I just want to ask you all for your prayers for him and his family. His family is taking it really really hard especially he's only 13.
 
OH no!! i m sorry heard abt ur cousin but i'll pray for ur cousin and i m sure he will be ok :hug: pls let us know abt his's update
 
Aww that's soo sad, I'll be sure to pray for him, and please do let us know how he's doing and what the tests result will show... :(
 
Awww I 'm sorry about your cousin :( He's in my thoughts and prayer as well for a full recovering.
 
I am so sorry to read, hope Dr responds the result there's nothing cancer but something else that will go away/get well *thought'n'pray*
 
Oh dear, I'm soooo sorry to hear about your cousin... :( He's continues in my thought and prayer.

Keep update about him.
 
Really so sad to see something like this happening to someone so young. :(

Hi Rebelgirl, That is terrible news but it also could be good news because it was found in time. I don't mean to say it was a good thing your cousin collasped on the baseball field but that collaspe told many people running to your cousin that something was wrong so I hope your cousin gets the best medical care and finds exactly what is wrong and fix it. I hope he will be a happy boy again in no time. My prayers are with you and your cousin and both your families.... God Bless....

You're my prayer thoughts... hopefully He'll get recovery soon..
 
Thank you all.. I should know by the end of the week about what's happening.. also he's going to see a cancer dr on the 28th of this month. Sure is scary to think about it. If that was your kid especially.

Dylan was very healthy and very athletic and just out of the blue they find this tumor. Its sad. Thank you all for your prayers! :grouphug:
