Sad News about my Uncle

Thanks everybody. My Aunt is having him cremated and when she goes to Minnesota for Christmas they will have a memorial service and burial in the Spring. They at least had the arrangements planned in case something happened either in Florida or Minnesota.

My Aunt is doing well. She is getting some rest after caring for him for the last 12 years. She is 82, so it took a lot out of her. Her sister has a condo next door and is keeping an eye on her and we call daily and have been to see her twice since the accident.

I will pray for your Aunt to get her through recovering from her restless days and nights, so that she can relax and not have to go through so much for him. Being a caretaker for her husband take a lot of stress and burn out so easy. It is not easy. My sister have gone through with our Mother who had Alzheimer's disease and now our Mother had passed away 6 years ago. It was very sad and knowing that our Mother is at peace. We miss her very terribly. :(
 
Thanks everyone - My Aunt is doing very well all things considered. We went and saw her the other day. She had been mentally preparing herself for this and is doing very well.

She did say that she had him cremated (as per pre-arranged plans) and will take him home to Minnesota in the Spring for a service and burial. Usually she always went back to MN for Christmas, but this year the family is coming here. She doesn't want to deal with the snow and ice. She is also thinking about selling her property in MN and making a move to FL, she's just not sure yet. Her 3 remaining kids and their families will be here for a week at Christmas and I will get ot see them again. I haven't seen my cousins since I was 7. (39 years, Gasp!!) They never liked coming to Florida and we never had the money for a trip to MN.
