what u prefer to stay/be?

<65
my girls's father used to like more heat in room, hot for me

yea, nights I leave heat on but days sometimes off cuz we do errands moving/walking/doing around warm up, to save my electric bills :wiggle:

I dont have heater on but there are old fashion that itself turn on like a auto grr I hate it lol but I always warm hehe

Less heat is good. When you keep the house too hot, it makes the environment better for germs. More germs means getting more sick. Since I have been keeping my house cool, say between 60º and 65º, I have been getting less sick, plus saving $$$ on heat. When I am out for a trip, I lower it between 50º and 60º.

For winter, at 72 since we felt comfortable with that tempature. For summer time, I can't remember what's temp for A/C but I think 80. I can be wrong.

me 77* temp.. Yeah too hot for you but NOT..
wanna try my house..
really freezing alike fridge!
stupid airforced still runs cooling contuine.. I do not know where turn it off.. that why I force increase the heat higher.. received my bill only charge me 150 bux 2 months.. ain't bad!

Temp is 66 at night for sleeping (with hot water bottle), then 68 during the day. Any warmer and the air gets stuffy, so we just wear more clothes.

Lately we haven't had to run the heat much because it's been more like spring than winter.

Galaxy Angel, $150 for two months?! Is that gas or electric? Either way, lucky you!

not sure is it DOLLAR, GA is in Canada :)
mine once $121 last month :aw: usually average $80 a month :wiggle:

Oh, you're right, but is it much of a difference between Canadian and US dollars? I thought they were pretty close.

it doesn't accually save the heating bill by doing this way.. its best keep it same 24 hrs. unless its 2 to 4 degrees difference then that's not a plm.. if its 5 or more degrees different then turning it up by 5 degrees makes ur heater work harder because the surface like carpet, furnture(sp?) and other things is cold.. makes it harder for heater to make everything same temp.

i set them to 68 degrees.. also have electric heater in bedroom.. i use natural gas to warm the house.. since gas price skyrocket 75% more than last year.. i bought electric heater to convert it.

also i'm thankful for gas assistance program. they pay my heating bills $113 per month.

Very Much agreed.. (knock on wood). we just got over with colds/flu but got away quicker than we expected.. (last dec).. we kept 65-68 ..
dress kids warmer.. :)

if u ever turn it off and turn it back on, it will running up the bills. best off is turn it down abit. Won't be much time for heat run so long if u turn it back on. Which it runs high. Like DeafScuba said eh.

As of recently, 1.16 Canadian Dollars = 1.00 American Dollars

For me, it's difficult to keep my room temperature at 70 degrees. Right now, it's 76.6 degrees. Sometimes, it goes as high as 82 degrees and as low as 62 degrees. I'm living in the dorms and they recently added another boiler to this building. So, instead of 4 boilers... we have 5 boilers. Yep, it keeps the building very well heated! Yikes!
