Have any of you ever had annoying problems or habits from the restaurants that you eat at? One annying problem I have is the fact that almost all waiters and waiteresses come to me when I have food in my mouth. Argh!

:giggle: Vampy,

Next time when you go in and if it happen again just spit your food in your hand and respond back to the waitress, I'm sure after this happens she/he wouldn't come back to your table again! heh

Yes, It happened to me too when I was eating salad the Waitress comes near I had lettuce on the side of my mouth. Boy wasn't I Embarrassed. :ugh:

One annoying pet peeve I have in a resturant is if the waiter/waitress not come back for long long time after Im done with my meal. I hate to bug them for the check!

ohh you shouldn't bug them for the check... cuz several time if the waiter/waitress doesn't come back for long time... well them I walked to the entrance and request for manager on duty and i :pissed: nform him/her that my waiter/waitress haven't come back to check on us while I'm waiting for another drink or got some minor complaining about the food and told them that I'm walking out on the waiter/waitress not the manager, once they understood and I tell them have a good day and hope their specific waiter/waitress have proper training for next time

Ooooh! I hate that...it never FAILS for a waitress or a waiter to stop by the table to ask how the food is while I have a mouth FULL of food. Jeezly Crow! I did the same thing... put thumbs up and smile at them when they approach the table. :giggle:

Yeah...that has happened a few times in the past -- when I am NEEDING something...there's NEVER a waiter or waitress in sight that'd come around to check what's happening.

Whenever that happens, I'd always sit there and squint...tapping my fingers on the table and when I see the specific waiter/waitress I always stand up and wave my arms above my head to get the attention! People who are with me, sometimes get embarrassed and giggle at my guts. ;)

:bump:

I can't speak that well. I tend to thumb up in my gesture when I am eatting. If I am not happy with that food. :pissed: I would write a note to the waitress.

Waiters come to my table looking and smiling at me more often than they should have. I kid you not. Klutz waiters seem to haunt me. I remember this particular waiter; he sweated a lot-- acting really nervous every time he approached to my table. They almost always give my sister free meals. Arghh! It ought to be her damn long eyelashes batting at them! Hmm.. I think I'll give it a try & see if I could get a free meal. ;)

I don't really have weird restaurant habits. You'd have to look real close. :) Nah, seriously...I go in, eat, pay the bill, and leave. But usually the waitors or waitresses will stop by and ask if we have everything we need...since we're a family of five, most likely the only thing we need is napkins...and I don't hesitate. I make sure my finger is up in the air..."excuse me? Can we have a stack of napkins?"

What I meant was, annoying habits that restaurants have. They tend to approach their customers when their mouths are full. Have you ever taken a bite of something, then within seconds... the waiter/waitress comes up and says, "How is everything?"

The do tend to offer to refill your coffee when the cup is full...

:werd: Sometimes, they will just refill your tea or coffee without asking you. When they do that, they ruin the "perfect taste" you created when you added sweetner, sugar, creamer, etc.
