red or white meat?

White meat. My all time favorite is the snow crab legs dipped in hot butter. YUMMY!!!!
Ugh... I have a friend who went CRAZY over these things.

There was a local Chinese buffet place called China Buffet. Every Friday, they serve snow crab legs. I went there once with a bunch of other friends and he kept eating snow crab legs... one after another... with a huge bowl of hot melted butter. Ugh!

What happened next? He farted up a huge smelly storm and stunk up the whole place just after using the bathroom. (Even the fan in the bathrooms and air fresheners weren't enough!) :barf:

ROFL!! I forgot about crab legs!! eww, i dont like em either! my hubby
loves them, and one time, when we were in Las Vegas, there was a buffet
and and lo and behold, there was a huge table loaded with these nasty
crab legs so he grabbed a huge plate of them and a bowl of melted butter,
guess what? he got sooo sick on it...food poisoning!! lol! i know its not
funny, it wasnt at first. we were riding back to our motel on the bus, he
kept looking at the trash can behind the bus driver wanting to puke..lol!
when we finally got to near our motel room , he finally did, the cop on a
bike thought he was drunk...lol! i told him ..no, no..i think it is food poisoning
from the crab legs or too much of it..hehe. He didnt eat them for a while.

LOL Defree, that was funny. I have eaten crab legs couple of times before. I think I had some pre-cooked ones while on at work (I worked night shift years ago.) They were pretty good.

I eat both red and white meats if they are cooked well. I like white meat better though.

i eat both... i dont eat steaks much.. but once in a w hile i will grill steaks on outside grill.. yummy.. mostly white i do eat lot as its leaner.. :)

LOL! Guess that means more crab legs for me then! Have you ever tasted it? At first I refused to eat it because the legs looked...eeeek. Then I lost a bet...and the bet was I had to eat one leg (thank god they didn't make me eat the shell part). It was the best bet I ever lost! Yummy! ;)

It is never a good idea to eat seafood from a buffet...lol. I always order mine cook to order. Tell him to try Joe's Crab Shack - the BEST crab legs he will find.

I wonder if Spongebob Squarepants would eat crab legs since he always eat Crabby Patties. :)

"SpongeBob, that's my Krabby Patty! Give it back, you porous freak! I command you! My patty! Nooo! I'll settle for some fries." - Plankton.

I am close to two Joe's Crab Shack locations. I went there with my mother about two weeks ago. It was somewhat distracting there - two (I believe) people had birthday parties - the waitresses and waiters went to the tables doing some kind of dances and singing birthday. There were lots of clapping. :)

At least, it's not as bad as Hooters. ;)

At Hooters, all the waitresses will put the birthday boy (or girl) on a red wagon... drag him around the restaurant... sing... then make that person do the hula hoop to match his new age. ;)

Did they do the YMCA song? They did when I ate there the last time. *GROAN* That has to be the worst song of all time.
