There is no Sales Tax in RI for clothing and most non-prepared food.

But lets get off Steves Off-topic discussion and back to captionings.. LOL

You are being ravingmanic as usual... but if you don't want to pay sales tax then stop buying the Macs from McDonald, stop buying the foods from food market, do not drink the tap water because of bill & tax. Starve yourself to death to prove us that you actually refuse to pay the sales tax.

But you buy the Macs from McDonlad, you buy the foods from food market, etc etc... now who's a hypocrite? Why do you keep contradicting yourself constantly? Seem that you are the one who is divorcing from the reality.

btw, online will have sales tax mandate soon. More and more online stores start to require us to pay the sales tax. There will be legislation for that soon. If the bill ever pass -- under majority-republicans congress, you cannot blame democrats for it. you just can't.

Read the subtitles!

without subtitles, how can the deaf people enjoy a film without one?

that's what closed capitioning is for on TV shows and movies, and subtitles on forgien films for people who don't understand such language or of course, another reason for the deafies to read it also.

as I said before, the deaf culture is already taking over the world!

*ahem* anyway, I would always enjoy movies more with closed caption/subtitles rather than without them.

Yep. Subtitle/Closed Capition is the bestest invention ever for deafies. That's one of few reasons why I enjoy watching the animes because of that.

We have the eyes... we can use it to read the subtitles/Closed Capition.

Ah, that's one too. Shipping itself often to be bit more expensive than sales tax.
 
1st, offtopic... MN doesn't have sale tax on clothes, and some food.. That's all I know.

Back on topic, there's open captioned movie. One of my brother work for Kerosates movie theatre (only 2 Kersoate thatres in MN), they do have captioned shows twice a month, I think. I do go to movie when I have a chance. My brother work @ concession, thank god deafies can go to him to buy food from him since he's only one that know ASL. If you everv have a chance to go to Kersoates Showplace 16 in Inver Grove Heights, look for Bobby at concesion, and he will help you with purchase of food. It depends on time and when he work.

I agree with ya....New Hampshire is tax-free state and an Republican state too. All the New Hampshire Republicans cares about old people not young people. All what New Hampshire is only taxed on room and meal tax. That mean they put taxes if you rent a room in an hotel, and they put taxes on hot meals only, like restaurant, they taxed you when u are in a restaurant. This is what NH republican can do??? they put high taxes on property taxes people cannot afford that much. that is wayyyy too much. this taxes is related to republican not democrats. you have to blame yourself for this and stop blaming democrats for this.
 
I rather pay the post office at least they work harder than the police dept does or school teachers do. If on line purchases are taxes then more democrats will not be re-elected. Remember florida representive gale harriston? She was voted out of office because she introduced the satelitte tax bill. We were doing what charlie told us to do.

well she was voted out of office because people dont want any more taxes in their home. people had enough paying taxes.
 
Right and more and more democrats are losing elections because they still dont get it. If Democrats change their tune and move towards the center then they might have a chance but as long theyre far left winged theyre gonna continue to lose.
 
you will ALWAYS get taxes each time you buy something, no matter if a president say that no taxes will be used when buying things anymore because he would still be lying, and taxes will never go away because the government always want more and more AND MORE money by increasing taxes when customers go and buy something in a store or restuant and there's nothing you can do about it.

..or is there? it's up to you.

Because at the theater you pay no sales tax and blockbusters you do. But not anymore thanks to the newly republican bill will eliminate sales tax and just up the income tax.
