We are working with a television show that has rescued a litter of puppies that were abandoned on the streets. These pups have been taken to a vet and after being nursed and fostered are ready to be adopted. We’ve been finding good homes for them, but are still looking for a home for one special puppy that was born blind.

We are hoping to find a compassionate family that may be interested in adopting this inspirational pup into a home that understands his special needs. Please contact rrfamilycasting@gmail.com for more information.

People need to watch out for people who offer free pets or offer to take your pets from the internet. some of them can be a scam. http://www.petfinder.com/classifieds/scam.html

Anyway, you should not just give pets away just like that. it is easy to give them away to someone who like to torture or use them for medical research and such.

The SPCA and shelters usually post pets on petfinder.com if you are a shelter, you should do the same.

Thanks, Lighthouse, for that warning. I'm a sucker for animals who need a home. Our house is full at the moment, but I'll keep FF's site in mind for the future or if a friend is looking for a pet.

We are not giving these animals away for free. This is a legitimate rescue dog agency and we are just looking for the right family for our rescues. We would be happy to provide more information to any interested adopters that e-mail rrfamilycasting@gmail.com.

We are not giving these dogs away for free. These dogs were rescued by an established rescuer who works very hard to find good, safe homes for the dogs she rescues. We are just looking for the right family for our rescues. We would be happy to provide more detailed information to any interested adopters that e-mail rrfamilycasting@gmail.com.

I don't know you so forgive me for posting this: I can't help thinking not free = scam.

What is the name of the shelter you are running?

Also people, your local shelter will have special needs dogs. It is where I got my deaf Peke, and they just now adopted out a 14 week old deaf Jack Russel, as cute as you could possibly imagine.

Sometimes, if you want a specific type of special needs dog, the shelter will take your name and contact you when the get one.

Also our shelter requires you to bring your present dogs in for a meeting and make sure everyone gets along, which to me is very important. They don't just hand the dogs out to anyone. Plus there is a healthy adoption fee so anyone who rescues is truly dedicated.

The shelters charge a reasonable adoption fee to protect the animals. I always make an extra donation because I've just seen all of the animals that I have to leave behind. Each animal lover can handle only some many pets. I'm always wishing that I had room for just one more.
