Prince Charles has been named by the Daily Mirror as the person Diana, Princess of Wales suspected of plotting to kill her.


His name was reportedly included in a letter she wrote to her former butler Paul Burrell.

But Mr Burrell told Sky News it was never his intention to publish the name and he was "not very happy" with the newspaper. He is now consulting his lawyers.

The paper says it has taken the decision because the Prince Of Wales's identity will inevitably be made public at the inquest into her death.

Editor Piers Morgan said the letter had been requested by coroner Michael Burgess.

Mr Burrell claims Diana wrote the letter 10 months before her death, as "insurance".

In extracts published in the paper in October and later in Mr Burrell's memoirs, she said her life had entered its "most dangerous" phase.

She continued: "(Word here blacked out) is planning 'an accident' in my car, brake failure and serious head injury in order to make the path clear for Charles to marry."

Mr Burrell says the contents of the letter have bothered him since Diana's death in 1997.

Harrods' owner Mohamed Al Fayed, Dodi's father, is insistent that the couple was murdered by the British Secret Service

Yeah...just don't understand the things all have gone through -- scruntised by the public and paraparazzi on a daily basis, nearly no privacy anywhere they went. Especially Princess Di.
It just seems like everyone in the world is obsessed by this lady by the name of Princess Diana of Wales. Admittedly, I do get curious about her and the royal family from time to time...but just can't get around the media hype around her over everything she did, charities she's done and visiting third world countries and raising awareness for them.
There are other people, those unsung heroes who have done a lot like what Di did...just didn't get much attention nor recognisation. You know what I mean?
 
Leave her alone, let her died in Rest In Peace! It is SIX years ago, past belongs to the past.

I believe the butler wrote this new release book in revenge for the treatment he received from the Royal Family, for accused him which is not true also they didn't apologized him for it. I believe he needed the money to cover the court fees he went through?

If its true that it was a plot of murder, why can't he report to the police asap after her tragic death, why wait till he wrote the book first to announce?

Please remember Princess Di wasn't thinking straight when her marriage breakdown which is quite acceptable to do something out of order!

People died very young age are more famous, people won't leave them alone ~ Look at Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, John F Kennedy, and so on. I am expecting to see new release book about one of them in the future!

I feel very bad for Prince William and Harry. They would never settle down in their life. The media always around them forever because their mother is famous !

It makes a good sense since Butler revenge on Royal Family to publishment the book. Dodi's father would NEVER give up to fight the case to find out who did murder Princess Diana and Dodi. 75% people in this world feel, it was not accident due to the driver who was drinking and speed under the Alma tunnel in French last August 31, 1997.

They are still under investigiation if the Royal Family bigbry to the paraparazzi. It is very difficult to evidence if the Royal Family did or not.

If if the investigation evidence that Royal Family involved the case of Princess Diana and Dodi's murder case. Prince William and Harry will be end up emotion psychological. It was not fair for those two sons.

Oh gosh, I can't stand Queen Elizabeth, she has very cold heart. She refused to respect Princess Diana's funeral in England. Prince Charles and two sons want to have a special funeral for Diana. I never forgot, the people went to Kensington Palace at 5 o clock in the morning. The flowers were bunches all over that place. Queen Elizabeth realized, million people were worship Princess Diana. Queen Elizabeth overwhelmed and tried very hard to break her ice to be respect her ex-daughter in law.

If Prince William becomes a King. He would NEVER stop to seeing the bunches of camera to flasher the light at him. He will become huge spot lights rest of his life !! I think, he rather not to be a King. Last time, I read the magazine last year. He wants to be normal life like we do. His Mom taught him to involve homeless people, etc... Took him to McDonald's etc... Queen Elizabeth was very angry at Princess Diana because she broke the Royal Family's traditional. Fuck.. Queen Elizabeth
 
It won't be entirely emotional for the boys. They are already old enough to handle it. They might be upset but not mentally scarred for life. It's usually the little kids who are severely mentally scarred when something happens... like death.
 
It has been theorized that her death was part of a conspiracy. The site of the accident was the site of an ancient temple devoted to the pagan Goddess Diana. The 13th pillar where her accident took place was explicitly chosen to be where her death would take place. 13 is an important number of the FreeMasons which many members of the royal family are also members of. One weird thing is that the security cameras were switched off right before the accident.
 
RedRum, I agree that she needs to be rest in peace ..But I would love more than anything to find the real killer.. I believe there more to this story than what people really are telling....I don't like Queen Elizabeth either she never liked Princess Diane...something about her just makes me have a goosebumps

The letter that Diana wrote to her butler didn't come up until recently. That's why it's all out again.

The investigation regarding conspiracy theories and hidden plots is still ongoing.

Start Over again and to investingation on Charles and others too..

Oh boyee.. Feel sorry for two boys become in trauma.. may be IF happends it's Dad involved.. two boys will not pleasant looked up his DAD..

That's what I'm saying. He didn't read the letter until 2003. They already announced the letter last year during summer or early fall. He wrote the book afterwards. The book was recently released. After the book was recently released, they took everything back into consideration. I guess it was what was said in the book that made them rethink the investigation.

Ugh ?? The letter has been not open until 2003. Interesting... Weird and Fishy going on !! :eek:

When a person send me a letter, I would not ignore it until six years. I would open and read these letters when I receive them.

I dont believe this bullshit because Bulter did not see the letter until 2003.
 
Remember the movie? "From Hell", that seem so simliar to this Diana (non-royal), they find way to kill her. Who know? Ouch, that could hurt these poor kids' heart if these are true that their father did it.
 
Diana was well-known to have some mental problems. You know how people like her are.

Sometimes, people will leave special letters and request that it isn't opened until a specific time and/or date. Maybe it was a special letter she wanted delivered to her sons. Who knows, she could die... she could move away... anything could happen so it could be for anything. So, it's her butler's job to respect her request.
 
No, I don't think he keep it till 6 years before opening the letter!! No-one would wait for desceased's request, they are trying to look up for a clue,
eg. the "Will" we don't wait for 6 years first before reading it!!

Hey, remember the bodyguard Mr Rhys-Jones(?) survived in the car crash, sharing with the chaffuer driver, Princess Di and Dodi, well he recalled saw a white car comes forward to give them frightened, the French police search for this mystery white car all over France, and could not find one that drove this tunnel!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe its Secret Police's car or ???? Remember the British dislike Dodi because of his religious Muslim, it would cause embarassed to the Royal Family if Princess Di married him!

I feel you all received the half truth! At first I thought the same as you all until my British friend got me a book "A Royal Duty".
I saw clear after finish read Paul´s story. The reason he wrote is to clear the gossips, rumours, lies etc over Royal families, Diana... what the newspapers wrote about.

1. Charles & 2 princes OUGHT read Paul´s book. It´s shame what they thought bad of him.

2. To me, Paul didn´t betray Diana´s trust. Paul´s story is so lovely & make me cry sometimes.

3. No, the book is not cover court fee etc as what they suspect about. He is also not do it to revenage against Royal families. He need money to fundraising to Diana´s Memorial Fund.

4. The book, he wrote was half finish BEFORE he was arrest for theif etc. It´s Queen who save his life! He wouldn´t of freed from court when Queen is not around.

5. Queen is a wonderful person, what Paul describe about. Big Opposite between Charles & Queen. Queen is not cold person as what the newspaper described about. I´m total surprise when I read his book because I alway thought Charles is better than Queen. Anyway, Paul was Queen´s personal footman. He love to work for her. Queen is real good boss & like to chat with her servants, staff etc. It seem to me that Paul didn´t enjoyed to work as Bulter for Charles because of his character. He asks too much etc etc (it´s long to write the story - I recommend you to buy the book, then you´ll understand more when you read them).
Anyway, he remained bulter to Charles & Diana until their separation in 1992, when Diana requested that he move to Keinsington Palace as her Bulter until....

6. Charles & murder? Oh No!!! Why should he do it to risk his reputation & also his sons? Oh No! I know for the sure, it´s not murder.
Sure, you know Diana suffered severe of depression, etc. She visited therapies.... I know from an experience with those therapies when you still feel angry, hurt, lonely etc then pour miserable out of your chest is write a paper or diary, then give a letter to person whom you trust or put them safety. It helps. That´s how Diana do it to Paul (pretend as "Charles") to rid of her anger, upset, etc. etc. Paul & Diana has no secret each other. Diana´s secret stay safe with Paul.
It´s not only a letter but load of letters. She could be paranoid sometimes.

7. Diana told Paul during last phone conversation that she want to go home to princes 2 days earlier but Dodi persuaded her to go Paris with him for business ground....... This end her life by car accident.....

I can image that she would stay alive if she didn´t listen Dodi´s persuaded!

Now it´s worst what the media did because of those Diana´s letter:-(
I feel Paul is regret what he did with Diana´s letter.
I feel Paul didn´t do anything to revenage against Royal families....

To me, Paul telling the truth. My hobby is collecting the true stories book.
I heard the rumour that Paul´s book will store here in Germany anytime. I´ll buy it again to read German because I want to read it again because it´s really lovely story.
 
Forget to add....
I don´t beleive Diana do something to revenage Charles because she still love him & don´t want to divorce but Charles.
Diana would never do that for princes´s sake.

I saw everything clear after read Paul´s story.
