Well I want a pink dress, pink bow on my hair, pink casket...
and I want to be in the mausoleum.
With white doves flying...

How do you guys want your funeral to be?

uh...why you ask? it's not like there's to be some kind of dress contests in funerals :ugh:

Most people dress in black when they go to funerals...but pink!?!? that's something you can relate to for Easter or something...

I am planning a funeral for myself...
I want to dress in pink dress.... and
buried in it.

Everyone or 'most' everyone will have specifics to how they would like to be appropriately buried--heck, there are guys who have been buried in their old classic cars! :-o As for others, some will indicated taking something with them as they're buried, some which is commonly done and some not so commonly done--.

As for myself, being decked out in a nice wool suit and favorite tie is about as simple as I would like.... ;) (and of course, they better comb my hair right--heh heh!)

this thread sure depresses me EVEN more worse now anyways but if I do ever die i wud expect to wear a purple dress and purple lipstick to match my purple glasses.. with my watch and ring on and even a cat necklace (if I ever find one) tho.

This is a very strange thread to discuss, but if you are curious about my death...

well I think I would rather be in a form of ashes put in a vase than being buried in an coffin, just so to make more space for the world and all.

This thread is more than alittle morbid, but to answer the question... I want to be cremated, and I want my ashes interred alongside my great grandmother. I also have toyed with the idea of having my body donated to science, but I don't know how my loved ones would feel about that.

I will tell you what I don't want. I don't want a open casket viewing. If you must, have a memorial service with a display of my picture. I went to a few viewings when I was younger, and the whole affair just really gave me the willies.

My mother once asked my father the same question, and he replied that it didn’t matter to him what they did after he died—he would be just a dead body. My mother got notably upset at his answer. As for me, I kind of agree with my father. I’m dead—what difference does it make? But I’m sure my wife has other plans, so if I know what’s good for me I better go with the flow and just say ‘OK’ to whatever she plans for us.

For me, i rather be buried in my fav shirt and jeans and nike shoes. thats what i wear everyday and wants to be creamted. and casket to be very nice and have my Oakley sunglass on after the furneal is over .

It doesn't really matter to me, as long its a nice dress and not too short for others to look underneath! ...

Well... when we all came into the world... we were all naked...
and it is nice that when we all leave the world... we will have clothes on.

From Crib to Casket.

I haven´t time to plan about this.

All what we know is to wear favorite clothes on what we did with MIL then great aunt.

There´re common to wear "favorite" clothes on .... It doesnt bother me what my hubby want to wear me on...
