ok so im freaking out..i cant find my ha and i just got a kitten..and shes playful and she does her own thing when we leave...now i cant find it. What happens if she's chewed it or it's been lost, can i get it replaced? I'm sure she didnt chew it as she is a kitten and it's a bte (not a mini) with a half shell earmold. i also cant search anymore tonite as my mom will know and if she finds out..im basically in deep crap since we cant afford to replace it

Sorry to hear about not being able to find it.
my advice would be to just calm down.. and then take a moment and think of where and when you had it last.. and remember what you did step by step after you know for sure when you had it last. Chances are, you'll find it soon after you do that.
 
It happened to me too. Once I couldnt find my ha and I had to stay calm and trace my step and think hard. POOF I found it and was releived. take a deep breath and close your eyes. Think of your trace from the beginning when you put your ha on to the time you took it off. Go for it.
 
Ya so i couldn't find it...i looked EVERYWHERE...the only place i was not able to look was inside the venting system...but anyways my warranty covers if i lose it up to one year. and my mom was pretty p.o'd but she was like u just have to be more responsible...and if i find the old one at least i'll have a spare:)...so now im on to ha #2 in less than a year:S...
 
Normally, a warranty is for when the product goes bad on its own... not when it's damaged due to neglect.

If the alternator or transmission went bad in my car while it was still under warranty, it wasn't my fault because it happened on its own. Then, the company would have to fix it free of charge. If I damaged the steering because I ran into a curb, then that's my own fault and the company won't fix it under warranty.

In your case, the hearing aid was either chewed or lost... so a warranty likely won't cover it unless they actually have something like "We will replace it no matter what you do to your hearing aid."

The warranty actually covers loss of hearing aid?
 
Yeah, for some reason HA insurance comes with a one year warrenty. I lost my old hearing aids the DAY the warrenty expired, so I was SOL...........GRRRRRRRRRRR.
 
ya they said all i have to possibly pay is a max of 100 deductible and thats it..i go 2morrow to get a new impression made for my earmold:)
