How many times a week does a pet needs to take a bath? I forgot to ask Charlie's vet that question. Once a week? or whenever is needed?

It's not easier to bath on cats.

Once a month. Must be 12 weeks old or older and can have a bath. If you bath the dog often, it will dry the dog's skin. I give mine a bath once a month and she hated it! Oh well! :giggle:

When you smell odors stink coming from pet... Necessary have your pet bathe!

As for me.. Once in two months depend odors...
If flea.. Yes necessary once in two wks to help kill the flea shampoo... *hopefully helps it lot but depend the brand of flea shampoo*

Either way your choice preferences have your pet bathe!

Cheri doesn't have a cat Pacman, but I do :giggle:

Dogs need a bath every month but if your dog was playing in a mud or got dirty, or got stink from the rain then you can bath your dog even if you just bath him the other day or so since some dogs sure loves to get dirty, such as laying on the lawn by rolling over and over :giggle: ...

You may want to take your dog in and get his first groomer soon ;)

All-right Thanks GalaxyAngel and Angel. I did bath Charlie yesterday after it rain off and on outside, he smelled like dead fish. :ugh: Now, he is smelling much better after bathing. ;)

I has no idea how often the dogs should bath.. .:dunno:

I bath Sussi twice a year (summer and winter). She don´t mind... but Kim... :Ohno: I need help if I want to bath Kim... Nobody in my family want to do with her... She look really  with full teeth, fully nail, ears go back... like angry lion... Never again with her... It will be our first time to bath 2 kittens start week of December... See either they like bath or not... We alway do that before Christmas... The vet said it´s not necassary to bath cats because the cats can clean themselves... :eek3:

but for dogs is understandable... the dogs need to bath because of dirty etc... but how often? Perhaps you can read the back of dog shampoo label to see how often the dogs need to bath?

as needed for my dogs- as both furs are different

during the winters, never as they dont really get dirty

during the spring, summer and fall- arugh probably 1 times a week for one dog and RARELY for the other one

Me giving my dog a bath. Ha!!! she will get me all wet and jump out of the bathtub by giving me a hard time. GRRRRRRRRRRR Penny! What a silly dog. But she loves to play in the wet towel.
