Right, and I found that really odd they didn't mention those. I think it must be a joke.

Hmm... when I get married and my wife becomes pregnant, I'll get some breast milk from her and try to make some cake with it. See how it comes out. ;)

Who knows, I might invite at least one of you over to my place and have some cake and/or cookies... and it'll have breast milk in it.

PETA is run by a bunch of pot smoking dumbasses. I would not at all be surprised if they are supporting Osama bin Laden.

LOL i wouldnt doubt it.

Their ideas are so laughable, these days, i dont even understand how they can still be a credible organization.

Last I checked humans are on top of the food chain.

We aren't on the top of the food chain. If a group of human beings were placed in an environment without weapons and surrounded by grizzly bears, which one do you think is going to end up being eaten? Tigers, lions, leopards, bears and many carnivorous species are above us. The only advantage we have are our intelligence which won't always help us out.

Besides, a bigger concern should be the slaughterhouses and how they are affecting the environment. It isn't good to have thousands of animals cramped into a pen and having tonnes of fecal matters being disposed of on a daily basis into the streams and waterways. Not only that, they cause land erosion and air pollution. They are a major contributor to the pollution problems. Animals being raised for meat should be treated better. The better you treat them, the more tasty they are.

Banjo does have a good point. In my experience beef that comes from a cow that was allowed out to graze pastureland is a better beef than one that was raised solely on grain, vaccines, and hormone shots.

PETA has its heart in the right place, but my god, its head is clearly up its ass! I dont like celebrities that blindly support PETA as they are unaware of the crazy ideas that they present all in name of 'saving animals'. They try to 'humanize' the animal perspective, putting human emotions into an animal to tug the hearts of animal lovers.

Well if PETA had it 100% completely their way - we would not be allowed to have pets as there would be none! All the animals would be spayed and nuetered so no more cute cuddly puppies or kitties!

All cows and chickens and horses would just roam freely on their own, no one claims them, if you hit one while driving at night and your'e injured, your responsible for not giving the right of way to an animal.

Also, if animals were given 'rights' vet care would skyrocket through the roof so much that most would just forget about it. Now imagine shade tree vet care in unsanitary conditions and a lack of pain reliever. Need Fido neutered? Just tie him down, and whack off his balls, no anesthetic as it would be too expensive to take him to a real certified vet as Fido now has these certain 'rights'....... the right to vote, the right to drive a car, just absolutely ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong I do believe in animal WELFARE. You must treat your animals well to get the best out of them, but they are animals, you have to draw the line somewhere and say enough is enough.

Animals need vet care, lets not give them rights so this can stay affordable. Animals need proper ownership and care, lets not give them the rights to roam the streets freely. Keeping them confined teaches them to obey the boundaries and reinforces who is boss, but at the same time you have to give them room to run, this where playtime and dog parks come into play.

I could go on and on about this, but I will save it for later. Vote for Animal WELFARE not Animal RIGHTS - giving animals RIGHTS equates them to our level. WELFARE ensures their safety and well-being without being ridiculous.
