Just say no you can't ride because you would not stop eating in my car! Simple solution.

That's different I would let someone that needed water or whatever,it's just that I am fed up with having to clean up after people who mess up my car.

Have them drive their own car then IF they cannot respect your car. I always gather my trash before I get out of the car and throw it away..

Oh really? Let me refresh your memories... the time after we were done with work at the warehouse, we stopped to get something to eat... and after I dropped you home............ :whistle:
 
I never had that problem..maybe it is cuz I trash my own SUV since I gave up on keeping it clean due to kids always messing it up. I guess I am a slob when it comes to my SUV but a neat freak when it comes to my house. It is weird.

Maybe when the kids are older, I will be more clean and expect others to do the same and then see if I experience the same problem as u are experiencing.

Your family needs to respect your rules because it is your car. Just like with some people not allowing others smoking in their car. Make them walk. :giggle:
 
I laughed at Shel's post because that's so me. My Pacifica is FILTHY with empty water bottles, Cherrios & Fruit Loops, chips, leftoever wrappers, etc. Yet my house is usually spotless! My friends never could figure that one out! :)

I say get a jar...each time they leave a mess, they have to pay $1.00. At least you'll be rich soon.

Do you mean that you have to accept what the people do what they want with your car and house? If your answer is yes... My answer is: No...

No, you should not do what the people want in your car or house because the car and house is your own property, you can do what you want... The people should respect you for that. I would consider it as rude if the people ignore your wish for continue eat or smoke in your car. They are no friends.

I don't have problem to have my boys, family & friend's respect for not eat and drink or smoke in my car because they know how to respect anyone in manner way.

You need to tell them if you don't like to have them to eat, drink or smoke in your car or house.

We have no problem for that because we stop at autobahn car place quite a lot for break if we are thirsty, hungry, go to bathroom, etc. I know someone who have diabetes did the same thing because they don't like to eat and drink in their car.

It's HER car, if she wants to keep putting up with it, then fine, there's nothing more I can do unless she wants to borrow my leaf blower.. :lol:

And yes, she's being too kind for allowing people to continue to eat, drink and tossing garbage in her car. IF I was her, I would make them walk.

Thanks Liebling,I just feel like I am talking to a wall no one listens to anything I say.So it does no good when I complain about my car.
