I am so fed up with people eating and drinking in my car.I don't like it but no one will listen,I feel like telling my family to start walking.Does anyone have this problem?

why let them into your car? Make them finish eating before getting in. Just open the door for yourself and keep other doors locked :cool2:

I don't like people eating in my car either. my car's very clean even though it's pretty damn old.

I agree with what you are saying,here the thing we go to the store or fast food place and by the time I drop someone off or take my family home I look in the back seat and what do I see? potatoe chips ,french fries and empty pop cans :roll:
 
maybe need to ask them to clean up themselves i always clean up myself i accidently spilled power sugar in my brother in law's new truck but i clean it up myself so he didn't have to do it.

*spray pepper spray if you see someone eating in your car then they will have second thoughts...* j/k Explain the rules if they don't respect your rules then either you charge them for the cleaning fee or they don't ride in your car
 
It took me a short while to establish myself as an asshole when it comes to food in the car so they don't eat in my car anymore. They either keep it in the bag or finish it beforehand.

I've never had that problem because my friends respect me and my car.

I do allow them to eat and drink, but it depends on what they eat and drink.

If it's in a cup that can easily spill, no. For instance, those huge cups with horrible lids from those cheap gas stations.
 
I´m very sorry how you feel about the people who did not know how to respect.

I never have problem to have my friends and boys to respect me and my hubby including car and house.

Honestly, it´s very uncommon to see the people eat and drink in car like that here in Germany. Many Germans have their lunch at autobahn park places.

I personally don´t like to eat and drink in the car. If we are hungry then we have to stop at park place for our lunch.
 
People that won't listen is because they got no heart, so in my eyes that some people can be cold hearted jerks out there. It sad.

It is nice to hear you telling us what it is like in Germany. Do Germans have long lunch hour? If so, maybe that is why. Most of the time the lunch break is one hour and it can take maybe up to 20 minutes to a fast food place and then one have to wait for the order. Almost no time to eat unless one can eat so fast. I guess that is why there are eating in cars to save time.

Yes, Germans have long and relax lunch hour around 30 to one hour...

Yes I began to notice when I was in USA that Americans are in hurry... Take lunch and eat in the car and eat while they are STILL driving... I was like wow...:eek3: It's too stress for me... Example: I want to sit and prepare the foods on the table for me to sit down and eat... around 5 minutes, they told me to take the foods to eat in their car... because they have to go now... It look like that they can't sit and have their relax lunch for long but just hurry after within 5 to 10 minutes... ?

Well it's depends on where they go for lunch, perhaps they have some errands to make afterwards and not ALL Americans eat their lunch in the car, some people pack a light lunch like a salad or a sandwich to finish up and head back to work. =)

How about using a leaf blower? :giggle: JK.

I know how you feel, my children sometimes leaves crumbs on the floor after eating in the car, but they always clean up after themselves like throw out their trash etc.

How about putting a small trash bag in your car and see if that will help?..

I agree :giggle: but I do put in a bag and it does no good :roll:

I understand, but what if it is hot outside, and someone needs to drink a bottle of water to avoid dehydration; would you let that person drink water in your car, or what about someone who has diabetes?
