3 eggs yolks
2 1/2 cups milk
Pinch of salt
3/4 cups sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter, smooth or chunky
1 baked 9-inch pie crust
Combine egg yolks, salt and milk. Mix well. Place in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until warm. Combine sugar and flour, mixing well. Gradually add to milk mixture, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and peanut butter. Pour filling into pastry shell. Chill. Top with whipped cream. Garnish with peanuts or chips.
