Britany allowing her baby to sit on her lap while she was driving, could have been a deadly one for the baby if she had gotten into an accident. It's the law that children under 12 years old must be in a child restrained seat and sitting in the back seat. Also, what was Britany doing that her son fell out of a high chair? That is neglect. Both incidents were neglect on Britany's part, and that is a form of child abuse. Social Services frowns on things like that. As for that doctor, he did the right thing by reporting it, because now it's the law for anyone in the medical, educational field to report if they suspect child abuse in a home. Failure to report it, could have costed the doctor a lot of money in fines.

I noticed some articles didn't mention the nanny's role. They just entrusted the nanny to protect the baby, and the baby was hurt under the nanny's care.
I just get a sense this was an accident, tho.. hope the baby will be okay. I am sure as first time parents, they are learning as things come. Just hard when you're a celebrity in the spotlight... every mistake is recorded. There are worse parents out there, though..

I felt that the medias didn´t say full that´s why I rather wait before I say something. I´m still waiting to hear Nanny´s side... then.....????
You know that Britney Spears and her husband were not in the home as it was happened to their son. I suspect that Nanny didn´t inform them straight way about accident until they came home and notice something wrong with their son over sleep alot. It makes them worried and took their son to doctor for check... It didn´t say anything about Nanny´s side yet...
I´m sure that you know it´s not first time that babies falling out of a high chair. It was also happened to my eldest son, too. It was happened in few seconds as I turn away after finish feed him... It´s soo suddenly, it´s impossible to have a chance to stop it. I took him to child physican right way after happened but Nanny? Why can´t Nanny took Sean to hosptial and then call Brittary then? I am sure Brittary would of break her appointment and to drive straight to hospital. It look like that Brittary didn´t know until she began to notice something wrong with him sleeping alot so she took him for the check then find out the truth later where it come from....
If she is really bad mother then she would not being worried or doesn´t bother to notice his son sleeping habits, don´t she?

Yes, but that's why they have safely waist strap and strap through the crotch area. That's why babies and children have highchair related injuries because they're not using it properly. They even had warning labels on all high chairs, cribs, swings, playpens, walkers. It's very important to read carefully and follow through to avoid accidents.
