Ontario police investigating hateful letter

I'm not familiar with Canadian hate crime laws. Can someone please post the exact law that you think is being broken by this letter?
 
If not help someone then dont do them harm..Surely not that hard to find the writer of letter as they must live local to this mother.
kokonut is right cooler heads needed not everything is black or white

And why can't you do it ? I found a link for ' Canadian with disabilities act' but my computer is telling I need to go outside of my protection mode to opening the web site
I am thinking the letter could be in violation of this act .

because Reba doesn't see exactly what law is being broken by this letter since it's not a hate crime as determined by police. If you see what law is being broken, let us know.

There is NO Canadian with Disabilities Act in existence.

Here's the information about our Hate Propaganda Law.

Criminal Code

You can see the disabled people are not considered as one of the identifiable groups in the law.

(4) In this section, “identifiable group” means any section of the public distinguished by colour, race, religion, ethnic origin or sexual orientation.

HUH?? I was asking Reba why she could not look up the law herself. For some reason my computer keep me from using certain web sites .

I'm not the person who claimed the letter was against a hate crime law. I wanted whomever thought it was a hate crime or violation of civil rights to let me know why they thought that. That is, what is the legal basis. Why should I look up something that might not even exist?

ASD people comprise a very specific group. I would think it should count as a hate crime also.

I was surprised to read the narrow definition of a hate crime in Canada.
