OGO user here......my opinion on OGO sucks!

I have OGO here. My the device itself SUCKS!!! it freezes up, IM does not work, I have gone to the customer services to get it fixed, they have noooo idea what to do with it. It sucks big time, I wish I have stayed with Sidekick but their monthly plan is bit too much.

OGO monthly plan is nice and cheap but the device itself sucks....May check out sidekick II or Blackberry.... waste my money. sigh.....
 
Sorry to hear that...I was considering getting one myself. I do need something cheap for when I am on the road or away from home in case of emergency.
 
Same here, someone was complaining about not being able to access the AIM on her OGO - Im very happy with my SK2 and am glad I didnt buy the OGO!!

I think the 30.88 a month bill isnt that bad!!!
 
oh wow, I almost get it for my sons. My son preferred to get the sidekick

*nodding* i heard from my friend complained abt that ogo!!! *smh* i am lucky that i bought sk! whew! i will trade my sk to sk2 this march cuz of my contract that why.. i cant wait!
 
I have ogo and it works GREAT for me. I have no problems with it. Ogo DOES have bad cons BUT sidekick DOES have bad cons too! WHATS A DIFFERENCE!!!! :) Sidekick is TOO fragile so whats the difference with ogo?? hmmmm *smh*
 
Yeah, I wish I should have stuck with my SK in first place but i didn't have much coverage where I live....which is one reason why I got OGO because of its coverage but its just the device itself is having so much defaults, even my hubby has ogo, he is starting to have problems with it.

My recommendation to you guys, stick with SK, don't bother getting OGO. I am calling today to cancel my serivces with OGO, thank god, it is not under contract. whew.
 
OGO doesnt have Internet use - SK does ... and with T-Mobile, we do have pretty good range, comparable to Cingular. OGO is still limited in range - I had a friend with a friend with a OGO pager and that friend kept going in and out of range...with the SK, I know we will stay in range MOST of the time and if not, the messages are saved - they will be sent off when the SK gets back into range... I dont know if OGO can do that.
 
I know one of my friends has OGO does not have internet and have plm to use AIM with me. She been try to reach with me, I keep tell her to email me and noticed that her email is come from AOL. interesting, it is belong to OGO!

I have SK I and still working well! ;)
 
Rest of you guys... Keep carefully read their policy and what provide the best range of area where possible available area singal... Cannot be blamed rest of your company issues of pager and etc etc...

I have to kept careful with so many different companies offers and can be fool issues contracts and cost of pently etc etc.. Ain't fun.. I paid for pently contracts terminated because of my son dislike cellphone LG.. oh great.. I've learned my 1st lesson.. I'd rather wait until to see anything find improving pager system of sidekick or others kind of brand where best the provide range provide... than per minutes cost.. I like unlimited.. I had been awfully questionaire w/these companies.. I can see the company doesn't like my question important how much provide better services system and etc etc.. I haven't get pager of my own yet.. Better wait until when find good reasonable the price and no pently contracts.. that what I'm interested about... *wise the budget*

Don't forget companies are looking for your pocket... and let'em monoployized you!

*chuckles* You guys didnt learn more about ogo. It's not always MUST from AOL.. if you guys have OGO, go to COMPOSE *write an email* make sure it's highlighted on FROM and push ENTER you will see your text message cell phone number AND AOL email or if you have yahoo, it will be there too... or MSN email--- it is not always from AOL. Now you can send anyone from that email whatever you choose that you already submitted on your billing.

*smh* learn learn learn about OGO---- *SMACK on my OHHH GOOOO! LOL! :laugh2:
 
I have an Ogo and my wife does too. You can't look at the device as something that "beats" the SKII because it doesn't. It simply handles e-mail and AIM. The only problem I had was with the activiation which took more than 24 hours (a simple call to their data group resolved that quickly).

NO PROBLEMMMMMMMMMM with my activation--- took me 10 minutes--- *coughs* it's NOTHING! :-D hee hee

SMACKKKKKKK on my ogo, I have it since uhhhh 4 months and still dont have problems--- sidekick is TOO fragile but neat pager anyways but too much of hestiants etc etc blah! IMO
