I'm confused.... how do you figure the drive is 3 hours if one is in Washington and the other is in Australia?

I'm on the border between Washington State and Oregon and on the Ocean. Willapa Bay is to the east of me and the River is south of me. We call it "The River" due to the fact that it is a 4.2 mile crossing which can be treacherous during the winter months with the waves crashing against the bridge as well as the winds. :shock:

The Peninsula is 28 miles long (noth and south), 1.5 miles east and west.

I never been there before. I have been at Seattle and Victoria in few times. I liked Victoria island. There were beautiful houses like English style. Too expensive cost. My sister lived at expensive penthouse in Portland downtown and she and husband have own business on Vernier Software.

Very rural--very dedicated to the fishing/oyster industry.

I been here for almost 2 years now and know of 3 other deafies here on the Peninsula.......
