Flip flop, flip flop.![]()
Absolutely! I always reserve the right to change my mind about a candidate. Elections evolve, it would be crazy not to.
Changing your mind is one thing. You seem to be rapid cycling dependent upon what you think the situation calls for.
He did but it is like roaches, once you have them it is almost impossible to get rid of them.
why not? I think we should elect incompetent Republican so that America will finally wake up and realize that this 2-parties only is a farce.I have predicted Obama will win re-election for some time. I have on occasion stated I hope Obama is re-elected. That is somewhat true. It depends on the conservative candidate we have at the end. There are a few conservative candidates that I don't want in office because I don't feel they can do the job either. IF we are stuck with a President that can't do the job, I would prefer that president be a democrat. Hope that clarifies my position. I see no need to jump from one incompetent candidate to another. That is just my opinion.
Worst case scenario IMO, we elect an incompetent conservative, he makes things worse and we re-elect Obama in 2016.![]()

I doubt even that will wake America.
Ron Paul will the the GOP's Ralph Nader. He will sure mess up the vote counts.![]()
well Obama did.

How so? I think OWS woke up America..
correct me if I'm wrong but voter turnout for presidential election was highest since 1960's and Obama's fundraising was the highest one (mainly donated by little guys).
America surely woke up at that time.

Ah. I was thinking more about how things have changed politically.
Could you explain why you'd prefer a democrat for a president who can't do the job? Sounds like the only reason for this is to make Republicans look better?
it has changed.
Well, I think that OWS has brought out things that need to be discussed in the open and that neither of the 2 parties are for change and that they're for the status quo. It remains to be seen if the necessary change (champaign reform, among other things) will come around. I do see positive change at state level in places like Ohio and also negative changes like what's happening in Arizona. I think change is more likely to happen at state and grassroots level.
I do not see much change at Federal level for many things. We did get healthcare in watered down form and bin Laden killed so that's good. More needs to be done though. I do think that change at Federal level may happen but only very slowly.
here's what has changed under Obama
1. largest voter turnout since 1960's... which means people have started paying attention to politic and realize that the power is in their hands, not politicians
2. Obamacare
3. Credit Card Reform Law
4. lifting federal ban on Stem Cell Research
5. Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act
6. Fair Sentencing Act
7. repeal DADT
8. withdrawal of troops from Iraq
9. Wall Street Reform Bill (no more federal bailouts)
10. no more offshore tax haven accounts
11. no more media blackout on war causalities
12. and many more that's for people, not corporations
and I'd like to see how does OWS compare to that accomplishments on federal level
