There is ALREADY a federal law specifically forbidding certain things regarding religions. They cannot watch every single school. It is up to you as a citizen to pursue a legal action against school regarding religion matter. For example - if the public school strictly enforces its policy to make students worship a certain religion - that school will lose federal funding and the school officials may be arrested. It's AGAINST THE FEDERAL LAW for government/public schools/public offices to ENDORSE a religion.

I own a gun and I would NEVER leave a gun behind tv... unlocked. It's a serious irresponsibility and that's my rule in my own household. But I do not need a federal law telling me this.

because America was originally built on "freedom of religion" by pilgrims. To escape from Europe's extreme religious view and the persecution. To practice any religions they want. Like I said - we are not faithless, soulless savages/extremists/fundamentalists. If you have no God, that's fine... but too bad for you because a significant portion of American population has religious association (even if they haven't been to church in decades).

and that's the beauty about America's freedom of religion. Nobody is telling you who to worship to or who not to worship to. Please do not confuse "God" as the Creator, the Man Above, or whatsoever. Do not take it so literally. I don't concern myself with the religions' history or whatsoever. I am not a very religious person. I do not believe God creates everything. I am a very scientific person but I associate myself with God (Buddha) because I have faith to believe in.

Deep down the core of ALL religions - they same the same thing. It's called... Faith. or you can call it Hope or Love too. We do not kill others for food. We do not rape any females we see. We do not live in lawless society like animals. That's what separate humans from animals.

Faith/Hope/Love is the most powerful belief ever known to humanity. It helps us to conquer the impossible thing. It helps us to proudly accept the difficult missions that may cost us our life. It helps us to overcome the tormented difficulty in life that should not happen to anybody.

Look at Jewish people in Holocaust.
Look at rape survivors in Africa.
Look at American soldiers and other nations who valiantly sacrificed their lives to fight the tyranny and injustices.
Look at Scottish people who valiantly fought against British Empire.
list goes on forever since the beginning of humanity.
do you think they were Godless people? and who you think who won in the end? the Godless evils?

Yes I can understand but it could be :topic: into religious when we want to talk about God itself. I had an experience when I want to talk about God and Jesus itself, not religious but it end into heat debate when they use religious to mix with God and Jesus.

Yes I know the line and rule. We are not discussing about Jesus or or whatsoever. We are discussing about the term "God" in the motto and the federal laws regarding it. That's all. So far - this debate isn't heated and everything's all nice and peachy.

Religion is about God. And notice that the Constitution makes NO mention of God at all and also mentioned that no religious test shall be required. That's exactly what the First Amendment is all about - do NOT impose anything that's religious in nature.

Since "God" is a religious concept, we should not use it in government.

Actually, we already have federal laws saying that if we mishandle household chemicals, we are breaking the laws.

Naturally, we cannot check every house to make sure everyone's handling chemicals correctly or to check if they're locking their guns correctly. It's against the Constitution.

Increase taxes - Bush has been cutting taxes too DEEP and we're running out of tax money to fund our public services. We will need to cut services and increase taxes to pay off our debt. If you think we can magically pay off our debt while cutting down taxes, you're delusional.

Restrictions on 2nd Amendment? Please understand that the 2nd Amendment was created to help the milita (men) keep their guns after wars. Nothing did it say you can buy guns. It merely said you can KEEP and BEAR ARMS and in that context, it was always meant for military use.

Redisitribute wealth? Hell, even Adam Smith, the father of Capitalism, believes that rich people should pay more taxes in his "Nation of Wealth" book.

More liberal judges on Supreme Court? YES!!!! YES!!!! YES!!!! Exactly what I want.
