because America was originally built on "freedom of religion" by pilgrims. To escape from Europe's extreme religious view and the persecution. To practice any religions they want. Like I said - we are not faithless, soulless savages/extremists/fundamentalists. If you have no God, that's fine... but too bad for you because a significant portion of American population has religious association (even if they haven't been to church in decades).

EXACTLY! That is the ultimate reason why pilgrims ran away to America! Is American government telling you who to worship to? what religion not to worship to? no, right? There you go. You are free to be "God-less" but tough luck. America was originally built on it by the founding fathers and their ancestors so once you live in here - you have to abide by it.

And I am not letting them to make me feel stuck with the God, I always know that I am welcome to disagree with it in the America so I can live with it and fight for it ;)

see? flint axe does a good work, eh? thank you for information. More Domestic Dissents for me... it's a good day. :cool2:

I always do, and im pleased to say i never need nor want a flint axe for domestics, you have my sympathies, I sincerely hope you get a life soon

and that's the beauty about America's freedom of religion. Nobody is telling you who to worship to or who not to worship to. Please do not confuse "God" as the Creator, the Man Above, or whatsoever. Do not take it so literally. I don't concern myself with the religions' history or whatsoever. I am not a very religious person. I do not believe God creates everything. I am a very scientific person but I associate myself with God (Buddha) because I have faith to believe in.

Deep down the core of ALL religions - they same the same thing. It's called... Faith. or you can call it Hope or Love too. We do not kill others for food. We do not rape any females we see. We do not live in lawless society like animals. That's what separate humans from animals.

Faith/Hope/Love is the most powerful belief ever known to humanity. It helps us to conquer the impossible thing. It helps us to proudly accept the difficult missions that may cost us our life. It helps us to overcome the tormented difficulty in life that should not happen to anybody.

Look at Jewish people in Holocaust.
Look at rape survivors in Africa.
Look at American soldiers and other nations who valiantly sacrificed their lives to fight the tyranny and injustices.
Look at Scottish people who valiantly fought against British Empire.
list goes on forever since the beginning of humanity.

do you think they were Godless people? and who you think who won in the end? the Godless evils?

Yea I do know they don't force us to worship, but they does force us to say "God" during the flag pledge. I remember I have to say "God" everyday at the schools, that's not freedom of religion.

Well we can't change the word "Faith" into that word, "God". Also animals living off without laws is a myth, if you research about the animals, especially how they live, you will find their own laws.

Example: *Ants always have the queen that tell them to gather the foods to save for the winter and they surivived the winter.
*Penguins have to gather a huge group of penguins hugging together to keep themselves warm, fighting against the extremely cold climate in the Antricatica(sp?). (Note, the Penguins live the most worst life than any of animals that lived in the Earth)

We can even find more nature laws around the animals, which we also have too. We surivive as well as animals do.

Don't assume that I want to take control other's religions.

I'd rather to say, nothing with the God nor the Evil. We live through the nature, the God and the Evils are just an image, JMO.

ps. the scottish people didnt fight the, not "British", but English under the pretence of religion, it was for want of a better word, for Freedom(don't go quoting wallace) which we celts gave and gave birth to the US you know today, my ancestors name was one of the men who signed the declaration of indepence, don't dare knock us for continueing our fight despsite being outnumbered 10 to 1, everythign you ahve even won you have massively outnumbered your opposition

I'm sorry but did they put the gun to your head to say it? Did they threaten to throw you in jail or to hang up for being a heathen? You are free to NOT say it.

You're talking about law of nature. We are not immune to it. What I speak of is something that animal kingdoms do not have - Consciousness. That is subjected to debate.

About Faith and God... I'm just saying many people take it too literally. I'm just explaining what "God" means in my own words. I don't believe in heaven, hell, supreme being creating the world or such thing but I do believe in unexplained, mythical-like power that we have inside our mind and that is called faith. love. wisdom. JMO.

Don't assume that I want to take control other's religions.
Neither does USA government and America's founding fathers and pilgrims.

hey - that's fine! You are free to say that. Nobody's telling you to say "in one nation, under God."

Jiro,

sorry sorry!. It's an American soldier holding up a cup, smiling. A large caption above his head - "How about a nice big cup of Shut the Fok Up?" and then a caption below the picture - "Think before you say something stupid." :cool2:

Jiro, as for the Second Amendment, the goal is to keep the state free and secure. Before the Second Amendment, militias were often disarmed by rulers and that angered the people. The Second Amendment makes sure that they have the right to KEEP AND BEAR arms and it wants that right to keep the state free and safe. However, note that it does NOT say that you have the right to BUY guns!

When you look at inner city people, you know that they don't give a shit about the Second Amendment therefore I believe that the right to be armed should be restricted to people who have clean history and swear to protect the state and themselves, not out to kill people.

That's the way I believe.

thus... the Supreme Court agreed with you and repealed those gun bans. HOORAH!

good post mate, I totally agree with you, guns have no place in our security, if we can get them so can they, house robberies here are very very rare to be using guns, i dont know the figures but over there it seems they are rare not to be carrying them, the gun law seems to be there for the john waynes of the US, i fail to see the point of it

actually no - if you agreed with netrox, you just agreed that law-abiding citizens can be allowed to have guns. That's contradictory to your view. And of course... you failed to see the point of it. You do not live in a highly-populated & diversed nation and you're willing to let your life dictated by government. When you experience America - talk to me. A homogeneous country tends to have lower crime rates than a heterogeneous country. (that statement does not always apply to Third World countries)

John Wayne? Boy.... sounds like your view mostly came from movies. :dunno:

you are such a stuck up little shite eh, in terms of area, ours is as populated as the US, so whats your point?
like i say, always on your high horse and it pisses the rest of the world off, all you! you !you!, even your huge gun deaths you defend, you have no shame nor pride.

whoa there, my friend. language language! :nono:
what's the matter, kiddo? Game got too hard for you? Press OFF button and kindly STFU unless you have something constructive things to say.

I'm not even gonna bother correcting you there. I'm sorry but you're the one who rode the high horse first. You claim to have all the solutions in the world, blaming USA for every mistakes, etc. Please reserve your anti-American comments to yourself because most of what you spouted out of your filthy mouth is grossly distorted.

John Wayne? LOL :laugh2: Here's a little message from John Wayne -

john-wayne.JPG

Hear Again - it's a picture of John Wayne in his World War 2 soldier uniform, standing and grinning - "Life is tough. It's tougher if you're stupid"

I believe you're talking about DC v Heller which I think is unusual because the Second Amendment said that guns are needed for a "free state" and since Washington D.C. is NOT a state nor is under a state, the district could ban guns.

If a person is serious about defense and protection, he should NOT complain about taking the training, having clean history, and swear to protect and defend the state.

"Bear arms" was always defined in a military context. Nothing at that time did "bear arms" mean hunting or driveby shooting.

Good argument.
