I thought he's a socialist? I am confused... Fox news told me he's a socialist. Does that mean Fox news lied to me?

And if one looks at the facts, he is neither. That's why I asked the poster to support their belief that he was a socialist. If you have such a belief, surely you know why you believe it, and can support it with actual evidence.

Well, Jillio - I believe that he is either both. He is a Socialist or Marxist - no difference. Both Marxist and Socialist are STILL under " communism ". That's MY view, because of his ideas and goals the way he wants to change in this country.

Actually, Maria, there is a big difference between Marxism and Socialism. And communisim is a completely different form of government from either Marxism or socialism. If you don't even know that, I doubt seriously that you know the details of any of them, or what makes them what they are. Since you obviously don't know what they are, there is no way that you can say that Obama's policy agrees with any of them. You are just parroting what you have seen someone else say, and have absolutley no foundation for making such a claim. It is not your view, because you don't even know what you are saying. You have yet to list a single point of Obama's that is in agreement with either a socialist or a Marxist government. You can't, because you don't even know what a socialist or Marxist government is. Now it has become obvious that you don't know what a Communist government is, either.

Once again, please take the time to learn what these things are before you make such libelous accusations.

I feel sorry for you because,you THINK that I don't know any difference in between Marxist and Socialist. Really, I do KNOW about them and I don't have to EXPLAIN what I know, because I know you will say that I am " ignorant " or what ever you think that I am. So, it's best for me to leave anythin' UNSAID until Obama's future presidency will unfold itself. It will tell you instead of me tellin' you. I have no further to discuss with you after this. Obviously, you don't. You have claimed that Marxism and Socialism are both Communism. You have also claimed that Marxism and Socialism are the same thing. Likewise, you have failed to list a single point of Obama's that is, in any way, either Socialist, Marxist, or Communist. It is obvious that you don't have a clue what the words you are using mean.

And, don't feel sorry for me, dear. I know the difference between the 3. I also know that Obama is none of the 3. I do not succumb to irrational fear based on lack of knowledge. It is you I feel sorry for.

Don't worry, Obama wouldn't take free market away, even there's too much misled against Obama, how is pathetic.

There's different methods could help with economy under socialism, that what FDR has done, even you know in China and Vietnam are communist state but they have free market.

I'm not going to get deal with this woman who is very paranoid with bunches of nonsense.

dear god, I'm not going to get into this crazy discussion, I am a socialist, but i also hate communism, to say both are the same is just silly, real socialism is democratic, most communist countries are dictatorships.
does nayoen else get the feeling soem things are beign said just to rile and completely without fact nor reason?

Like someone I know pretty well said: "As long as Capitalism is the steak and Socialism is the parsley, I can maybe live with that."

yep i heard most of the US don't eat their greens so i'm happy with that:lol:

anyway to be honest, our labour government is socialist(apparently) you can harldy see a difference in their policies these days.
