Sorry guys if this is annoying. I didn't know if this fit in the Students thread. I'm not a student (anymore) but I was interested in learning ASL. Would anyone mind helping me over Skype? I'm a 23 year old male who lives in the USA. I am an amateur radio operator, I speak 3 languages (English, Esperanto, and German). I write poetry, bicycle, jog, and enjoy music in my free time. I enjoy learning new things the most in life. I feel empowered when I learn things :). So, again if this is in the wrong section, I'm sorry. I am not deaf, but I think ASL is VERY cool. Thanks for reading. Hope to hear from you guys soon.
 
Where in the USA do you live?

Have you tried looking for a local deaf social event? In most major cities, you can find places like Deaf Chat Coffee and Deaf (Professional) Happy Hour. At those places, you can meet other deaf people and put those learning skills to use. :)

I live in the country so I'm unaware of any local deaf social events.

Thanks RacherBunny :) I am not so good with my Esperanto either LOL or I would reply in it. I'm just now becoming fluent in my German and I still don't understand what most people are saying. I'll try the site resources then. :)

:lol: if you do a search on here you can find all sorts of sites, my favorite is lifeprint.com the same guy does asluniversity.com as well. both are very good!
