Actually, the baggy pants started out in prison. When you wear it low, it means that you're someone's prison bitch and they are to be left alone. Unless you want a severe beating from the guy's 'lover".
A simple Google search will confirm that.....

If that is so, why would a kid want to shout to the world that he is a someone's 'bitch'?????

Boy, that must've been embarrassing to find out what it meant later on.

.....good answer, and I was wondering myself!...
External control psychology. It simply does not work.
External control psychology. Simply does not work.
(And if you had any idea of what I was talking about, you would realize why I just re-posted my original post.)
Thank heaven, however, there are those that do know, and are capable of engaging in intelligent discussion instead of just trolling and inflaming.
I have read the book too....![]()
What book are you referrring to?
Choice Theory
My reference has nothing to do with Choice Theory, but is a concept directly from social psychology. Choice Theory is a framework for Reality Therapy. Which author regarding choice theory are you referring to?
But, since you appear to be so well versed in the topic, please explain how choice theory and external control psychology apply to this particular situation.
I'm sure that is another question that will go unanswered.
Umm....the book "Choice Theory"
And the author would be?
Again, I address the question to you regarding application since you want to discuss the topic of Choice Theory in this thread.
You don't know who the author is?
