If you dont like the in-built mouse, you always can purchase a mini external wireless mouse.

Wow!! I primarily use my desktop, but I have a little Acer Aspire One netbook.

I would love to get a Kindle, but money had to go elsewhere.

I was saving for quite a while, and then we got cash gifts from relatives, and my husband told me just to blow it all on the Kindle for our anniversary to cheer me up.

I too hate the mouse-pad. When I use the netbook, I do have a USB mouse that I use. Son uses the netbook primarily and hates the mouse and loves the mouse-pad.
