National ID card

Reba, yes you are right that we are born again Christian and won't worry about 666 because we will be gone with Jesus through rapture or die!
Amen!

Have heard of the National ID cards. It may solve better rather than worse for the current SS problem to replace with. Much less private we already experience now but more later on, no question.

But yep, it will be the next bad news in time due for the mark of the beast system that Anti-Christ will use it into his new powerful ID system for his power control over the people in the Mid-Tribution.

Kepp that in the mind that the National ID is NOT the 666 type yet, really but mere of a step closer or few more before so.

After all like Reba said, once you get saved by Jesus you don't worry one bit about all that because of the rapture occuring before the 666 beast system coming into the existence.

ps. I find it "bit amusing" that we used to be bit sensative about our driver license IDs, not the SS identifications in the recent past, but suddenly it has turned into the opposite nowadays. Remove your SS# from your driver licenses and personal checks if yours still have it on ... and treat it like your credit cards! Yes, I agree that SS# is bad, bad, bad. You could do your part but what the heck about the companies' or the governments' information protection that we can't help or control with. That stinks!

I am kinda of excitin' at the same time bein' nervous about the comin' of Jesus Christ soon. I am NOT lookin' forward to National ID card in 2008. It will make things more harder and irreverisble for some people who are patriots, true believers, and so on - the ones who are truer to Constitution and the Holy Bible. I find it very sad to recognize that many of them will fall in Satan's hands by deceptive. :(

Okay -- I would like to share somethin' with you. Today, I went to Target to buy a packback before I get ready to fly next week. You know what the clerk at the cashier asked me ? She asked me, if I want 10% discount and, I said yeah, sure. The packback didn't say about 10% discount before I took it to the cashier. When she shown me the " ATM " little machine thing that was on the counter to pay for items -- I read what it was sayin' on the window in it. It asked me what my Social Security numbers was. She also asked me for my ID card. I was stunned. I told that lady ( cashier ) that I don't want it... meanin' I changed my mind to forget it. I paid the packback without 10% discount and left. I have a hard time believin' it. I can feel strange surroundin' me when I through this thing - I mean, really weird feelin' but, good thing I don't give out my SS#.

I can see about National ID card. It is on the way - processin'. What a scary thought ! *shudders*

That's odd that you were asked for your SSN at Target...Target is not supposed to do that (and other stores too). You should report them.

Right, that's illegal for a store to be using an SSN just for a discount like that. It would be good to find out if they asked anybody else you know for it, so they can't just blame it on one rogue employee if you bring it up.

"When she shown me the " ATM " little machine thing that was on the counter to pay for items -- I read what it was sayin' on the window in it. It asked me what my Social Security numbers was."

If that prompt popped up on the screen, that seems to be a question in the Target system, not just an individual cashier scam. Hmmm....

Very weird.

Yeah, I thought that was very odd...

Never had that happen to me, but I haven't been to Target in a very long time and I do not think we have a Target here in San Antonio.

Well, there were some people linin' up in front of me -- they signed up their names in ATM after gave out their SS# right AFTER I learned what it was about when it came up to me next. I couldn't believe it how many people didn't realize what it was all about. They wanted 10% discount just for their items without thinkin'... just signed up after gave out their SS#.

And, yep it is illegal. Wonderin' is it also illegal to have National ID card for the same reasons when it involves SS#s ? Every place that you go to with the National ID card, they will know everythin' about you. :-\

Yeah, she also told me that the Target will NOT keep the information -- it was just that to let them know WHO I really am that I really am.

It also made me wonder if God was showin' me somethin' ? Was it in my destiny ? I just wonder.

Yeah, I find it very odd too cause I shop at Target all the time, and Target don't do that....

Strange. That's illegal. I have no idea where
to report this illegal situation and have this particular
store investigated ? Perhaps FTC ?

I moved away from San Antonio awhile back, but when I was there, they had a Target in Universal City/Selma.

And Y, I would think either the Federal Trade Commission or the Better Business Bureau. (Is that under the FTC or separate?)

Oh ok. I don't go to that area, I pretty much stay in the San Antonio city limits plus Live Oak and Windcrest....no further than that.

RIT just changed from using Social Security numbers to student ID numbers.

A waste of taxpayers' money and a flagrant invasion of privacy. Of course, with the GOP in power, why is that surprising? That's practically their party platform.

That said, the comment that this is a sign that the Apocalypse of John is coming true is just stupid. Whoever came up with that should be sacked.
