I've touch many mountains while driving on highway via Kamploo, B.C. to Vancouver, BC. but not walking alike hiking on the hike trails yet.

I have seen Mt. Rainier in distant often. I've been to Mt. Rainier at the lowest altitude where my family and I went to snow tubes and other at a few times.

I've seen Mt. St. Helens quite in a while.
I've seen Mt. St. Helens by the plane above it.
I've been to Mt. St. Helens at the Observatory Johnson is only 5 miles from Mt. St. Helens. It's really awesome sightings!

I've seen Mt. Shasta a few times. (drove by)

Hmm. I didn't realized that there are mini mountains in San Diego. Interesting.

I've seen Rocky Mountains on the side of Colorado.

I've seen and been to Mt. Olympics.

I've seen Mt. Hood sometimes.

Smokies and San Diego in US.

Andes in Ecuador.

Been to mountain many time and lost track of them.

Been to Yosemite, Sequioa, Mammoth Lakes, Sierra Nevada, Kennedy Meadows, Lake Tahoe, Bristlecone, Shasta, Whitney, Crater Lake, and many more. Drive past Mt Whitney all the time, maybe someday we will go there and check it out.

California:
Been to-- MAMMOTH!!! (Luuuuvvv the place and their 12-feet walls of snow...! ;) ), Mount High (a pathetic excuse of a mountain), Palomar Mountain, ...
More specific in San Diego-- I have been all over the county. Did walk up the Soledad Mtn and Ironman Mtn, uhh... hmm... they are not mountains... more like BIG steep hills. ;) Safari said "mini-mountains" lol... Most of the so-called mountains are out east of San Diego past where my husband lives. Ramona, Julian, Alpine and whatnot.

Saw--Big Bear....I didn't go there (saw it when going to Mt High), drove by the Sierra Nevada. It was GORGEOUS during wintertime-- white powder all over the tops and you just stared up to this amazing sights!

Colorado:
Saw that mountain where NORAD is at...

Hmm. I have been to WA, OR, UT, NV but I cannot remember if I saw any...definitly didn't go to any specific mountain in WA, OR or UT... NV is a possibly. I did drive all way to Las Vegas ... Hoover Dam got mtns around it, right? So it counts? :dunno:

I did spot some mountains from flying-- so I am not sure if this count but since somebody here did post mtns he saw from the flight so I am gonna to list them too--

SAW FROM THE FLIGHTS:
the mountains in Greenland (miles of snow and fjords! SO cool because now I can say that I did see Greenland ;) ), Sweden, Utah, Appalcaian Mtns (if flying to Ohio from D.C.)... and of course-- the Rockies every time I fly from LA or SD to NYC or Newark (or viceversa). :)

oh right I forgot to add mountain ranges I've been to Colorado rockies, Northwest Cascades (WA, OR and North California) Utah Watach front, Unita mountains. California Sierras from South all the way to the North, and San Garbiel mountains in LA area.
Alaska mountains, don't know the range, Canada mountains in B.C.
Nevada mountains in the desert, too. It is nice to see lots of different mountains with shapes and height, and so on!

Nevada mts....

Hiked Mt. Teton in Wyoming

Hiked at Rocky Mountins in NC/Tenn

Applician mts...

the best was the Teton Mt.

Hmm.. I've only touched 3..
The first one was the Rockies (Nevada)..
The second 2 were 2 very soft, sexy mountains on top of a certain someone's chest.. mmm.. mountains! :dance2:

Alaska mountains, don't know the range

OH yes.. I forgot the glorifying Alaska.. I remembered I went out on a family trip to some mountain... couldn't remember the name. It got a plaque and everything. :-X We did hike up a mountain to see a .... waterfall, *I think*... my brother kept scaring me by pushing me over the ledge... I ended up crying. (I was 12 years old and I got a fear of falling from height-- falling from a mountain's ledge is the perfect example). Didn't enjoy the hike. My brother kept saying: "STOP crying! you will embarass yourself when other tourists saw you bawling!" I replied: "I DON'T CARE. It is your problem! I HATE YOU!" and somewhere like wishing that I was adopted and everything... teenagehood... with my brother was the worst hood ever.
Most of mountains in Alaska are actually "glaciers"... had to drive all way around the damn ice mountain... it did take us like 8 or 6 hours to reach to Homer from Anchorage. It could be 4 hours if we go straight. So I did see a lot of Alaskan mountains-- they were everywhere! ;)
and no it doesn't stay white during summertime. it was green at the bottom of snowy mountains. People were shocked that not all portions of Alaska weren't covered in snow during summertime.

None of you been to New Mexico?? There are plently of beautiful mountains!

That sounds like a interesting story you had. You did have a great adventure! I also had a good adventure, too. I saw lots of snowcapped mountains right in FRONT of the ocean with glaciers flowing into the ocean. There were tons of icebergs, too! It was beautiful and interesting ecosystem Alaska has. ;)

Thanks for the humor. ;) BTW, I finally remember when I was a kid, my family and I went to a mountain (I don't know the name of that one, sorry.) near San Diego. I walked in an ankle to thigh deep snow uphill surrounding the trees has been gone for about half to hour. I enjoyed play in snow and make a snowman. I went there a few different places on the mountains in San Diego area. :)

LOL that reminds me of an old movie which is called something like this:
"A Gentleman who went up a hill and came down a mountain."

Everyone has different opinions about mountains and I agree with ppl here. After living here in Utah, I am used to the mountains being at 10.000 to 14.000 feet that I see smaller mountains as hills as well.

I lived in New Jersey for most of my life, and the land there was so flat, that 1800 feet was the highest "mountain" in the state. ;) A hill by our mere definition, but it is still the highest point of New Jersey.
