Hi, how many of you use myspace?
I just signed up a couple months ago and I love having my friends on it, but I also get so many junk emails from people I don't know .. any of you have experience with that ??

If you change your age to 14 years old on your profile, then only the people who are your "friends" can see your profile. That might help bring and keep the number of junk mail down.
 
i use myspace EVERYDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! i ingore the junks i all do is remove em that's it.. just ingore smileeee :-D
 
same here .. i just ignore the junks.. and report them as spam and delete them.. :)
 
I hardly get any. Sorry to hear that you have been going thru. I dont blame ya at all. Take an easy girl. :D
 
I have myspace and didnt get any of junk :dunno: .. but I hate when music band was in my junk so I blocked them and now havent gotten from music band cause I blocked music bands :)
 
I'm in the same boat with you. I've been getting alot of spams/junk mails in myspace and it heads to the inbox. So normally I don't bother to read it (the ones that I don't know of) and delete it right away - but there's also another option - change it to 14 years old and that should lessen the junk mails flowing in on myspace.
 
or use a nickname for myspace.com so nobody can find u by your name like I do that and i don't change my age anyways.. ;) but I recenlty saw in people magazine.. perverts I wud say try to hit on teens for no reason.. so don't bother try to use the age as a teen. :)
 
I use myspace everyday. I have a great profile and i enjoy playing around on it everyday.
 
Looks like I am one of the 5 people in the US who doesnt have a myspace account or anything similar.

seriously, the junk mail I was referring to is getting hit on by all these people that I don't know .. It's not really spam .. I don't think there's any way to block these kinds of emails.
 
I use MySpace. I love it and I hate it:

I like making a few friends to a plenty of friends. I like to PM chatty thingies. You even can upload pics and let other comment on what they think of.

I hate strangers whom are off the base, perverts who acts like "nice" persons...blah...and junk mails I don't know what are they're thinking, and wanting to be added to your friend list but turn out to be a creep.

Overall, it's okay...I can't say the number between 1 and 10. So I might list it as 7 (okay), they need to improve the safety by preventing children under 14 from registrating and pretend to be "14." Jeez.
